Seventeen technical difficulties (Patreon)

Hey guys it’s Blaire, unfortunately we are having some issues with uploading like I mentioned as a “this has a possibility of happening”., but we honestly weren’t expecting anything to go wrong. We are basically feeding Patreon so many videos and it’s had enough.

We are working on a fix, and right now that fix is deleting some RUN BTS to make space for today’s uploads.

That’s where we’re at. We did not know Patreon would cap us this soon so we are figuring out how to move forward but I’ll keep you guys updated!

Yes, i think Patreon it’s about 500 hours for content.

hopefully you guys are able to resolve this issue but i also assume this is why people are forced to use 3rd party uploaders. would you guys be able to upload to youtube and have the content be unlisted? or would that be an issue for copyright? i was trying to think what other creators use but i know the people i watch probably have a lot less videos uploaded

like maybe stuff that you know won’t be copyrighted can be uploaded to youtube, maybe altered listening parties or variety,and then things more likely to get strikes,like dramas, could be uploaded here? Not too sure if that would be a solution or not

I joined patreon for Seventeen content only to be honest😊 And I've been waiting for the reuploads for like forever now.. And I understand the struggle, but I'm still gonna beg you to please please find a way to upload it asap. 'Cause I'm afraid that it might be delayed again and it will take another set of eternity😁 I'm rooting for you, guys😊😊 Fighting✨

Thanks for everything! Honestly, editing and uploading is the tedious part of the process and you guys are absolute legends for going through this repeatedly and still remaining hopeful ✌🏼

We are working on uploading to YouTube as well but it has a “10 video a day” upload limit so— it’ll be slow, which is why we thought we could just to Patreon for now and then slowly integrate back to YouTube as well 😅 -B

I read through the article announcing native Patreon video hosting. It seems like you got an upload limit of 500 hours for the first six months of the year. And you probably just used it all up in less than one. Patreon is just not meant for mass backlog uploads like this. Another Kpop reactor, Kaia (The Safe Cave), is currently in the process of moving to an entirely fresh Patreon page. And they're using a third party video hosting service called Vidyard to upload their backlog. Probably for this exact reason that Patreon itself doesn't really allow for this sort of thing.
