Good Omens Episode 1

I finally decided (at the last minute) to buy a second hand DVD of this season from eBay instead of taking out an Amazon Prime subscription. So now I just have to wait a few days for it to arrive so I can watch along. I enjoyed the intro!

Looking forward this. I didn't think it was that long ago I watched it but it was 2019 BC (before Covid) One mistake you made. The bit about it being six years to go was when they was trying to teach the young boy to be neither good or bad. We then move forward to where it is six days to go. So Adam gets the dog on his 11th birthday.

Thank you for letting me know about my mistake. I was a little confused after the first watch, got it on the second one though :)

DVD arrived, episode and reaction watched and much to my surprise I have never seen this before. I know that the series was shown once on the BBC in addition to being on Amazon and I thought I had a memory of watching episode one. Obviously it was some random later episode which explains why I didn't have a clue what was going on and didn't continue. This time around is going to be much more fun. Watching the story from the beginning and seeing your reaction at the same time. And yes I agree about how funny the show is. I think that's partly because the Brits can't make a show without at least some funny lines. And also because the book this is based on was co-written by Terry Pratchett who wrote the hilarious Discworld books.
