A special post... (Patreon)

This one will be a long and special post about something i've been working on for some time now, while interchanging messages with some of you i have shared my intention on switching to better and more powerful programs that would offer more possibilities, im not sure if anyone still remembers a very old post where i was doing some tests with the orc character, at the end those tests didn't really lead to anything meaningful, i still kept experimenting with modeling, normally people will aim to get some visual results as soon as possible, by learning how to mount the scenes and get ready to render, however if have been following for a while you may have noticed that i tend to pick the most difficult alternative, so for a while i have been focusing on practicing the character modeling most specifically the anatomy, the majority will opt for the most logical and best option, which would be to get results a soon as possible to start sharing some nice screenshots, either by getting some base model meshes and modifying them, using ports from games an even quicker alternative would've been porting the characters from the current engine im using , but almost from the first day started modding the engine i disliked the body models, i found them extremely limited and messy even by their release date standards, so with the freedom provided by a more powerful program i wanted to get the bodies as perfect as i could both visually and in function, what i want for my characters and although limited i think it's pretty clear with the current characters is to have that sweet spot of androgyny for the male models and that thick mature body for the dGirls.
after many sculpts my results are not quite there yet, but i think they're at least acceptable, specially for the fit/lean male body , XL dGirl and 3XL dGIrl body, which are the body types im more interested on.
and after several tests and numerous discarded characters, models and experiments, i think i got a passable result, it's not close to those ported game characters like baldurs gate you may have seen on numerous animations, but i think it's a decent step forward from the old original TK models, Since it's made from scratch (with the exception of the eyes and inner mouth) this character took a long time to get the result you're seeing, still i dont consider it finished just yet, it still requires some tweaks as you may spot, the plan is keep making some characters from scratch and when i get a solid results (for the body mesh, textures, topology and rig) start using it as a base to speed up the creation of future characters.
Currently i'll be focusing on screenshots and galleries with upcoming new models, im not sure how things will be working for shooting animations, the render times in blender pretty long, my plan is at some point shoot the animations in Unreal engine since the graphics are real time therefore it's should be much faster, as for the galleries i dont think there will be as many shoots as the current galleries, since after doing some screenshots each image took around 2,5 minutes to be rendered, opposite to the TK screens which pretty much are done in single click.
For the upcoming galleries im planing on doing some shoots with "Simone", i've ported 3 outfits and some toys.
Setting up the scene required me to learn several things and also was pretty time consuming, but now that i got the first screen shots (more on the upcoming post) i can now send the pending links and start with this month main video.
Since working on this as taken a lot of the time i use to create content, i think i may be sharing some more WIPs and experiments with you to keep you updated and show you what im up too, some may be a bit boring and technical, but i dont like how the post number has been affected due the time i have investing on the migration to a new engine.
