So finally i was able to get some acceptable results with the new models and at last i got some actual content to share and now i'll proceed with one of those boring posts where i share all those tedious details for those interested.

I think i don't exaggerate when i say "Rachel" has been the most demanding project and piece of content i ever worked on, i think 70% of the time invested in this model where troubleshooting and fixing errors, the result it's far from perfect and even with all the corrections there are still visible issues, which was something to be expected from a model created from scratch, but at the end i think Rachel turned out as a passable upgrade from the old models, still i don't think her model is good enough to be used as the base for future new characters, but as i keep working with this new tools im expecting to get better results in future projects and when i get the long waited base model, creating new characters and modifying existing ones should become a breeze.

In the following days I'll keep experimenting and working with Rachel, i know her model has some flaws, but bare with me, as at the moment i would like to focus on the rendering and scene setup with the new pipeline and have a break from character creation and anatomy studies.

All my time and attention where on Rachel model and now that i got some results i think for the rest of the week i'll be finally focusing on the pending clip and the main video.

I would really love to start doing some story and episodes with Rachel, but i think the model current state is not suitable for animations.

Rachel is still a work in progress and im aware of some of the most critical points that require attention:

Hair refining and adjustments

Breasts correction: as you noticed (specially on the Beatrix bonus) i struggled to get some nice results on the breasts, most likely because while modeling the character i went with a pretty much unused/non recommended approach, this was mostly due obstinacy, and the result where a lack of model resolution on the nipple area, so im currently debating in redoing the whole breasts in order to get more geometry and control in the nipples area

For my liking the fingers turned up disproportionately slim in comparison with the rest of the hand.

Although decent i think I'll be looking for a different eye models

I would like to change the aspect of the teeth, for this one i think messing with the program parameters should be enough to get me to the result im looking for.

I have added a new collection solely focused on new creations done with this tools, so all the posts within the "upgraded models" you see will feature experimental works and models, with the goal of achieving an improved overall content, i dont really dig the collection name, but i couldn't think of something else, so it may change in a future.

Galleries coming up from the "upgraded models" may be much shorter than the old ones, due the demanding and much more convoluted process, at the moment im experimenting with different settings, each image of "The Boss" took around 10 minutes, at the moment im not sure if it's possible to reduce that number, so i'll keep fiddling around.

As always feel free to share your thoughts and feedback about this new stuff coming up.

My 10 cents worth: Rachel is intriguing, particularly the narrative. Lots of potential for the dominance theme stories. The other model is unappealing visually. Still open minded on this new work but if it places more demands on the creator, is it worth it? My (only minor) critique would be output volume, which makes lengthy gaps in narrative development when we have so many. A rather conservative viewpoint for sure and it is better to see a finished episode before judgement. Furthermore l can see the tech will advance quickly. For example My use of AI has exploded in a few months for example. Used correctly it is extremely useful. Last year it was just a news story now it’s part of life. So one has to keep moving the frontiers. Hope this helps

I personally find all the AI stuff pretty chaotic at the moment, im old fashioned, if the internet ain’t dead and is still usable in near future i don't discard digging on it and see where can i integrate it in my workflow, what i don't like of it is that it seems like it excels and is focusing on the final result rather than automatizing the stage between of the workflow, so it pretty much kills all the creative process and leaves one the task of correcting and adjusting an almost finished product, if that’s the future of the workflow, i find it completely bore-some, but that’s my very personal take. My current goal is to settle a pipeline with the more advanced software, but i doubt i'll be to get 20+ minute scenes as fast as i do with the current program, the old software provided a great way to share my stories, but i couldn't ever look over it's defects and limitations, between improvements with 3D engines and AI, the current engine is only getting more archaic, i was aware of that sometime ago, and that’s when i started to use different technologies, but in pursuit to get better and better results i easily get lost in the process rather than the results, hence the lack of activity here, it’s been a long time actually since i started to experiment and at the moment i’vent even managed to get a video or clip which is pretty underwhelming, but with the plans i’ve for future content i’ll absolutely need a more advanced setup, i’ve even considered fiddling around with game engines for some other projects too, all in all, there’s still many things i want to do in addition with the currently ongoing series and the process has being rather slow, but at last there’s some concrete results with the last posts and i like to believe that on-wards each step will be faster. I forgot to specify it in the post, but the 3 pictures on the post are actually all renders of “Rachel”, the first image is the “raw” body sculpt, it’s pretty much the overall body shapes at a pretty basic level, the colors on the model are merely illustrative and due the stage of the model, the amount of detail is quite limited, the images serve as an after-before, same as the images of Mariska, as you can see from the basic sculpt to the finished model the difference is pretty drastic, a more skilled hand may achieve more appealing models even at that stage, still i’ve planned finishing Mariska's model, either for curiosity or obstinacy, at the end i think it’ll be interesting to see how she turns out.

AI - l take your points. I get professional work via AI now, then l polish and check the result or accuracy. Without my 40 plus years of knowledge to fine tune the result the initial output would be rubbish but working together it’s fast, accurate and saves time and clients costs. Now this is for less than glamorous work than you are producing ( professional services financial and legal ) but l can see the benefits and pitfalls of AI emerging and it’s definitely the future. I like it because it reduces the boring stuff and lets me concentrate on the ‘added value’ application of my clients needs, the technical background to that and the possible solutions. These broad principles hold good for much of human endeavour. However ask AI to produce the next Van Gough or Picasso, you aren’t going to get a masterpiece! As to the rest of your comments, noted. We should always encourage creators but it is the imaginative talent that makes up a big chunk of the output satisfaction for me and the visualisation, while important, a lesser component. That said press on!
