As I had promised here is my tutorial on how I bring copper and all copper alloy helmets to perfect mirror polish by hand. I hope you enjoy noble patrons! And always thank you so much for your support. On the video because I'm using a very soft cloth, what I'm about to say doesn't apply, but when you polish with anything that is rough make sure to always polish in one direction as to avoid leaving random scratches.  With Bronze and brass you won't need to use anything like that though because of the product I'm gonna show you.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Thank you, Sir- you just gave me a boost to polish up my bike fenders and the copper forms in kitchen! All best, Metatron, from Toronto Island, Canada

Would using a rotary tool with a cloth head work, or would that generate too much heat and kick the cleaning solution off across the room? I often use a polishing head on my dremel with steel for final cleanup. It works pretty well, especially in areas that are hard to get a good back and forth motion on by hand. (Crook of the blade and guard, for instance.) I don't know if that would work on cupric alloys as well.

Would it help to wear gloves so you don't have to worry about how you handle it the whole time, and trying to not get finger prints on it. When I was in a long sword and shield stage combat class, I wore golfing gloves in order to keep the metal from getting skin oils on it, and starting rust. They also helped when cleaning the swords and shields afterward.
