Yeontan™️

you actually dropped this video on jk‘s bday! i’m impressed 😂🫡

Trish

I don't think the crowd knew Suga would be making an appearance so their reactions are genuine. Jimin's Who acoustic version is so good, but the rock remix is one of my favourites.

Storm

I love Olivia Dean!

For Begin, OnlyOneOf is the group YooJung is a member of and the vid that popped up is the continuation of the story you saw in the MV (KB is the other guy in the vid). Each member of the group was paired up with each other to create a series of songs called 'Underground Idol.' The vids depict relationships between the members (incredibly brave as it's a taboo topic still in Korea) and the vid descriptions usually have a message too

ang

shoutout whoever has the taste and requested banks 🤍

Giu

welcome to ateez' latino era!! Work is the title track of their newest album (yes golden hour the one on the pole) and it's such a fun era with a lot of Latin influences! My theory for Jongho being buried is that he's considered one of - if not THE - best vocalists of kpop right now, so he's one of the little golden nuggets they have as well

Yay, Marianas Trench is back! It was me that originally requested them back in 2021, and I’m so glad to see that they’re still being represented on the channel 💕 They just released a new album in August that I haven’t had the chance to listen to all the way through yet, but that I have high hopes for. Thanks so much for your reaction, Michael!

Yay! Glad you enjoyed Carrie & Kelsea. So the original video did have like 20 seconds more, but they took it down so I had to find another one. 🙄 But anyway, I love this performance with the two of them. And would love more like you said. Carrie does do collabs with both country and outside of her genre. She actually has one out now with Papa Roach. OH and fun fact since you mentioned Idol, Carrie just became the new judge and it'll be 20 years in 2025 since she won (crazy). 🙂 And yes, Carrie will put her all in any performance she does whether it's her song or someone else's.

I'm glad you liked the Beatles. I think they might make it! Seriously, I think a good starting point would be Ron Howard's documentary "Eight Days a Week." It's about their early touring history. It would be amazing to share that with you. Sorry if my message was a bit long, but you have repeatedly said you don't know about the Beatles. "Blackbird" was on an album called "The Beatles," more commonly known as "The White Album." "Imagine" is definitely John Lennon's most famous solo song. And Hannah requested "Yoko" by Maisie Peters! Perfect timing! One thing that became abundantly clear from the "Get Back" documentary was that Yoko was not an issue. She sat quietly in the studio knitting or reading. Blaming Yoko for the break up of the Beatles for FIFTY YEARS is the height of misogyny.

Marianas Trench making a reappearance in the custom requests??? Love that! Still my absolute favourite band.

So glad to see OnlyOneOf make an appearance on this channel !! They're a great k-pop band, absolutely unique sound and aesthetic, and they carry beautiful messages. I absolutely would love for you to listen to more of them. Especially the rest of the #be series (which yoojung's begin is the first part of) . KB is a member of the group also and the guy with long black hair in Yoojung's video, so the video you saw at the end (be free) is actually the direct continuation of this one ! I highly recommend you to check it out, to at least see how this particular story ends :)

jackie0330

I am SO glad you listened to Streetlight. It is one of the most relatable songs I've ever heard. Whenever it plays I tear up because ik how it feels and it hurts to imagine Changbin feeling it too. He is such a happy, bubbly person, but he hides this so well. Too well, almost.

Maisie Peters entire discography holds a special piece of my heart. Every song, even the upbeat ones intended for mainstream ears, are just lyrically articulate in immersing oneself into her vivid storytelling. I am proud to be a genuine Maisie fan since 2022 ☺️❤️!! Besides eventually reacting to her debut album, YSUFT, I really hope you also dig into her 2 EPs. Her debut EP, “Dressed Too Nice for a Jacket,” is a must-listen, especially with the vivid storytelling for the fall season 🥰

I'll have to catch up on the rest of the CRs later but I'm really glad you enjoyed ZB1 🥹 I was really impressed with their live performances and this one specifically has a specific vibe to it that I just love. For a rookie group who's members only trained together for a short period of time they're insane on stage and they delivered here as well. I don't know if I mentioned it or somebody else, but they're (for now) a temporary group, so their contract will end sooner than other groups', and one of the people who has worked with them said that "they really do everything with the thought of 'we only have a limited time, so we might as well go 200%'" and they truly do. I love their choreographies cs they always create such beautiful shapes and formations, pay attention to details, and while they're very challenging they're usually also very elegant and just fit the vibe of the song well. Also glad you enjoyed the short piece of Crush! I honestly think the hate train towards that song is very forced for whatever reason. I wish I could recommend every song from them cs each one is different and shows a different side of them, but that would take so long haha. There's still a lot to discover about them and their talents so I hope they'll continue to impress you like they did to me.

rnc1100 .

It would be amazing if you do one of Mariana Trench album my fav album from them is Ever After

That that is such a fun song, this performance is so high energy, it's always great to watch. And Yoongi's appearance was a surprise. You are absolutely right, Jimin recorded new vocals for the acoustic remix, we can see it on one of the videos about MUSE on bangtantv channel. Out of all the remixes, the acoustic one is my favorite, but the rock remix is SO good too, it's a must listen. I'm so happy you got to watch Jungkook's Times Square performance! And uploaded on his birthday! Happy birthday to our golden maknae 🥳💜 So, Jungkook was the second artist to perform on the TSX stage on Times Square, the first one was Post Malone, and after Jungkook other artists performed there too, I just don't remember who specifically, anyways. I remember it was a few days after Golden was released, he was in NY and when some people started to set the stage in the morning we just assumed that he was the one performing, so the armys who were in NY simply went there and waited basically the whole day based on a assumption 😂 but we really got the feeling that it was for him. It was only announced that he was going to perform like an hour before I believe. It was just a unforgettable day 😂 If you want to see him performing the whole Golden album you should watch Golden Live On Stage in your own time, last time I checked it was available on YouTube.

Debby

Yes gdragon started the brand in 2016 and the song came out 2017. The title itself references the brand

Psy (pronounced just psy, not p-s-y) is honestly Korea's biggest showman. Korean crowds are not exactly known for being too loud or energetic, but his concerts always go crazy and he's the only artist who can make koreans this excited lol. Summer Swag is PSY's annual summer concert that he's been doing since 2011, with multiple dates across the country during the summer and it's quite a big event!

Giu

OMG I didn't even notice Please Don't was on the list!! Plot twist of the century!!! This video went soooo viral back when it was released and it comes back every now and then lol. Just FYI, K-will released the sequel to the video a couple of months ago after 12 years and I hope you'll get to it eventually

Mariana

Oooh I’m so glad you got to see Jungkook at times square, the way ARMY pulled up just based on a rumor that someone was gonna be there and them just going in case it could be Jungkook will always amaze me because the official announcement of him being there was like half an hour before the event. Of course the place was already full of ARMYs since that morning. Yoongi’s appearance in PSY’s concert was also unannounced and there’s a behind the scenes of him feeling nervous because it was his first time on stage without the members. From Jimin’s Who remixes, my favorites are the acoustic and the rock version. I don’t know if you saw, but Be Mine now also was a full English version.

Tyler Woodward

That song from Brynn is actually off of an EP called "Based on a True Story" from 2021 and she actually released her first full-length album back in March called "Out of the Blue" both of which are really good and I think it would be cool to see you react to one or both of them if you can fit it into your schedule at some point.

Alix Drifty

So cool to see you react to the Beatles for the first time. I got super into the Beatles when I was a teenager, and they were so KNOWN that it's really fun to find someone who doesn't even know what they individually look like. Reacting to their last performance together as your first reaction is also really cool - bravo to the patreon who requested it. To comment on Jungkook - the other REALLY cool thing about Jungkook's promotions for Golden (and Seven and 3D) is that all his performances were free. The TSX one was free open air announced last minute for whomever could assemble. The performances before then in the US were both broadcast for free and also the audience just needed to line up (or donate to Global Citizen). And when he put on a FULL CONCERT in Korea, the audience was selected by raffle - and I think you just needed to have bought his album to enter - and then it was broadcast live, regardless if you bought the album or not.

rose hannah

He will, next month hehe

Stacy

Jimin did do a new vocal. There’s clips of him singing it, I think practicing? Before the new recording. I like the new vocals, it’s a whole new beautiful song without the auto tune effect from the original. I love both versions.

Jenna Antonelli

Its already been mentioned im sure, but Yoongi coming out on Psy's That That stage was a total surprise. It was the only time it happened too! The twitter timeline that morning (our east coast time) was insane. People were losing their minds with the fancams being posted from concert goers who were mostly non-armys. Definitely a memorable one. So happy he released this official taped version so we could really enjoy the peformance AND hear the insane crowd. Always gets me hyped when I rewatch.

Mirjam

I think this is the strongest and most stable jimin’s voice has ever been! The result of his hard work really shows in who. It also makes me really sad that during this time he is stuck in military where according to Jin he has no chances to practice:(

emmy

thank you so much 🤍 made my day !

emmy

also! the guy who stars in lie (nessa barrett) is the same guy who was in the music video in the thumbnail (the video with the motorcycle) !!!

Kasapo Mwanza

Its not P.S.Y . Its just psy as i. Psychology

lylagrima

It makes me so sad that golden is so triggering to me bc I love koo sm but since it helped me in a really bad time I just can listen without remembering all the bad stuff :c

Lachelle 5SOS

Definitely with Marianas trench you kind of have to hear the whole albums to fully get the final song the final song is like a combo of the entire album wrapped up in a bow they do it in every album
