such a fun reaction!! the faster songs are very reminiscent of her first album ‘stars dance’ and also her three albums with her band The Scene! you should check them out if you ever get a chance, they’re very different from her more recent albums, but they’re still great. i really don’t think this is her last album. i know people are saying it id because of the five year wait, but that same exact gap exists between ‘revival’ and ‘rare’, too! i honestly think she just likes to take her time and it’s always worth the wait. also, a fun fact: ‘stained’ is an unreleased song that fans have been wanting her to release for a few years.

i liked this one right away but after a couple of listens i really love it (i do love a chill vibey song tho) so you may find you get more out of some of them upon revisiting 🫶

Yay. Glad you checked out this album. I just started watching, but I wanted to jump in real quick to say that the first track, "I Said I Love You First," is actually from the last day of filming for "Wizards of Waverly Place" where she was thanking the crew, cast, and everyone. They literally watched her grow up on that show. When I first heard this, I was like, "Wait ... I've heard this before." And I'm not sure if you listened to his on Spotify or Apple Music, but on Spotify, when the track is playing, they show a short clip from that moment back then. It makes me appreciate the beginning of the album that much more that she included this moment of her life because that was the true beginning of her stardom. It's also great because the music video for the next song, "Younger and Hotter Than Me," does a tribute to her Disney Channel days. OKAY, back to the reaction I go. 😂

I enjoyed your reaction! I agree with you that there were some songs I enjoyed more than others, but overall as someone who has been a fan of Selena since Wizards and then watched her go through that toxic relationship, I'M SO HAPPY FOR HER for being happy now. She deserves it so much and now I need you to react to some of her & Benny's interviews during their promos for the album because it just makes u appreciate their relationship and even the album even more. Definitely the Hot Ones interview. I'd love to see your reaction to that. So, I know in one of your previous Selena reactions, you didn't think you'd be interested in her old stuff like when she was doing Disney, but I've been relistening to a lot of her Selena Gomez & The Scene stuff and I think you would enjoy them. Please think about reacting to those albums and Star Dance. 🧡

I personally love this album as a whole, it’s so cohesive and everything just flows together so well🙌🏼 of course I still have my favorites, like younger and hotter than me and scared of loving you💕 now this being said, I would love to see you listen to her older albums, it’s a must! Her debut Kiss and Tell - A Year Without Rain - When The Sun Goes Down- all by Selena Gomez and The Scene. And then there’s also Stars Dance, which I’d say is her most experimental album yet. And last but not least Revelación, because you said you wanted Spanish Selena 😜 she does have some other Spanish songs before this album too👍🏼
