Never have I clicked play so fast!! Melissa Benoist plays super girl in the cw series but, she’s going to be a new cast member to a show you are currently watching! So it will be cool to see you’ll know her from whiplash! Also still holding on to hope for burlesque one day:)

Aninha Silva

I saw bits of this film once growing up and it was a scene where he's playing and his hands start to bleed, and I never touched this movie again. Maybe now as an adult and watching it with you I might be able to get through it kahxkajska

Alycia Ortiz

I’ve never seen this before but I’ve heard it’s amazing…can’t wait to watch with you! 😁

Tomasina

Maybe I’m a masochist but I watch this movie at least once a year. A masterclass in acting and editing

IBG_Music

2 hours of anxiety sums it up pretty well. Very enjoyable movie though. It’s been some years since I saw it, but I guess it’s a good time to rewatch it.

Tomasina

also you may know the dad in this from Stranger Things and JK Simmons voiced Tenzin in Legend of Korra

Jackie

you perfectly encapsulated my feelings as you went through the journey that is this film. It is so intense and so stressful and so upsetting and you hate the end but also part of you kind loves it, you hate that you love it. it is so incredibly well acted, so well directly and shot and just, everything. it makes you think, and that is what good art should do.

Orangeskies

Forgot how much anxiety this movie gives me omg

Just Lily

I hope you will include Chicago and Les Misarables in your next poll! PS Whiplash is amazing, loved it when I first saw it and love it still. Imo Damian's best movie

Charlie

This movie is SUCH a masterpiece. The camera work in the end scene where it switches back and forth because Fletcher conducting and Andrew drumming is insane and it seems so simply but damn is it effective because that's exactly what your head would be doing like you're watching a tennis match. It's definitely an intense film but something about it makes me absolutely NEED to watch is at least once a year. Top 10 movies ever imo. So glad you watched this. I think everyone should at least once. Don't even get me STARTED on the character analysis on Fletcher and Andrew because UGH it's so well done.

Mikayla

My high school jazz teacher wasn’t one tenth as intense as Simmons’ character and I still have nightmares lol. And I haven’t been in high school for almost a decade.

Hedda Dybvadskog

Just want to mention that Miles Teller actually does do the vast majority of the drumming in the movie! An editor said he did about 99% of the drumming with only a few close ups using a drum double. I feel like you can really tell as well and that's what makes the movie feel so genuine. I am also one of the insane people who do watch this movie at least once a year, it is 100% in my top 3. Loved the reaction as always!!

Cardenasada Taco

Can we please get a JID Forever story reaction?? I’ll pay extra 😂

laura mango

You shoud watch Top Gun Maverick!!!!

Julie B

And the first Top Gun, if he hasn't seen that.

Alexander Ocean

Subbed just for this movie, absolutely love it! As someone who has an obsessive personality, this movie always gets me charged up even though I know its wrong lol either way what an amazing movie!!

Janet Michelle- You Caught Me

The last scene in this movie is amazing. My personal read on Andrew's dad is he's astonished at his son and how he's literally standing up to his bully and he's seeing in person just how talented his son is and how he's doing it and taking back the power that Fletcher had taken from him. And if people are getting jobs from this performance he's certainly going to be getting offers. JK Simmon's Oscar for this role was so well deserved!
