You were very close but Glee fans are called Gleeks. And I can’t believe you didn’t recognize the absolutely iconic Friday by Rebecca Black. I thought everyone knew that terrible song. Once again glee brings it with the emotion. First with the Karofsky moment of apologizing to Kurt and Kurt having to face down the people who hate him to accept prom queen. And then they hit us with Jean’s funeral which did have me wiping away tears. I almost got there with Sue’s eulogy and then Pure Imagination took me out. What you said was literally Quinn’s whole plan. It was just to get Kurt and Rachel suspended from the competition to make them probably lose. I’m not sure if the writers intentionally made it a slapped together idea that wasn’t very thought out or calculated. But honestly I feel like she just wanted to blow up their chances to make everyone as miserable as she’s feeling. And I’m sure had she done it and it worked she would hate herself even more than she seems to at the moment. She’s convinced herself that she can’t do better than their town or becoming a housewife married to her high school boyfriend with a regular job (I think she said as real estate agent during that one monologue to Rachel). I feel like she’s a very complicated character who still has a lot of growing and discovery to do. She’s one of my favorite characters. And last thing I have to say For Good is my favorite song from Wicked and I can’t wait to hear Ariana and Cynthia absolutely slay that song. But it’s such a fitting song for this show, I’m sure for a lot of people, but definitely for me. And like not to get all sappy but like I do believe I was changed for the better because of this show because as I’ve said in previous episodes it really did change media and the portrayal of queer characters, pushing them from side characters who either barely get a line per episode or are just the butt of some terrible joke about a stereotype. Glee made them main characters with real stories and hardships and helping to show the truth that we’re just people who want to exist in peace and find happiness and love and acceptance. And like why is that so hard? Like these episode are probably close to 15 years old now and we’re still dealing with people who want to dehumanize and demonize us and force us back into living in the shadows or living a lie.

I’d love to see your reaction to the Glee Concert Movie before you get into season three! As I’ve said before, it doesn’t provide any extra context for season three, but it does give context to just how big Glee was at the time. And it’s also just fun :)

s2 is truly peak glee. i love s1 for nostalgia reasons and s3 was also great and the last really good season imo but when i think about glee i will always think about s2 and new york is an amazing finale and one of their best episodes! also yay samcedes!!! love them so much, every pairing that ended this ep i love. also love the new directions but these were not their best competition songs so i don’t think finn and rachel’s kissed cost them that much tbh

Yes, please watch Glee the concert film. Also little fun fact, the song Will sings on the stage in New York is the actor, Matthew Morrison’s real song, they let him perform it on the show, it’s called Still Got Tonight

If you are a fan on Darren criss i highly suggest you check out a very potter musical, even if you don’t react to it , you should still check it out in your free time it’s one of the funniest and most creative pieces of media I’ve seen! And it’s where Darren got his start!

i think quinn's big plan was to go to new york, pretend everything's fine until just right before the competition and then she'd quit (or get rachel & kurt suspended for frolicking around nyc, as it just so happened to fall into place), leaving no time for them to find a replacement for her and having them be one person short to perform, thus ruining their chances at nationals.

Just making sure you know that Darren Criss actually plays Harry Potter in the very potter musical that you just put on the pole! It’s amazingly funny and a great time! I hope you either react to it or find time on your own to see it! Totally worth it!

Jesse is so unhinged and I love every moment lol he just matches Rachel’s crazy and I always liked them together. Omg I remember when they filmed the last episode in NYC. There were paparazzi pics in the magazines that leaked. Like a lot of ppl are requesting, pls watch the 3D concert movie! I saw their show in NJ live and it was epic. Glee really was such a huge show, they sold out shows all over the US and London. Crazy to think about!

It’s crazy because, every man wears a kilt at a Scottish wedding. It’s not a skirt, it’s not seen as in any way feminine, so I guess I have a skewed point of view on it. Kurt looks great and very non-provocative to me lol!
