idk if this movie reminded anyone else of that limited series on netflix called adolescence idk maybe it’s because of the kids but you should react to it i would love to hear your thoughts on it. now to watch your reaction for this even though im not prepared to see the jumpscares again 😭

Gladys was essentially sucking the life force from her victims. You can see her get more and more energy from each person. The longer you’re under her spell the more you lose of yourself which is why Archer was able to snap back immediately versus the parents who were under the longest. You should check out Barbarian from the same director. Also the junkie is Ethan from Euphoria

Marcus and Alex (and poor Donna) are the only straight up good people in this movie and I will die on that hill. Paul is the worst and I'm not a fan of Justine at all tbh. She just doesn't have any personal or professional boundaries at all. I pity her siatuation but I don't like her. 🤷‍♀️ Archer is somewhere in the middle for me but I have sympathy for the fact that he is a parent who lost a child.
