This EP has been on repeat for me since it came out, it's sucha cohesive work and I don't think I'll get tired of it any time soon. Thanks for the reaction so fast!!

clacla

Damn that was fast ! Btw she has already done a bunch of perfomances and right now she's on tour ;)

Loved watching this reaction, and thank you so much for uploading so quickly! Since you’re watching the show now but weren’t tuned into the social media discourse when it premiered, “Machine Girl” and “FinallyApologizing” are songs addressing a lot of the online hate and backlash she got because she was one of the girls the edit of the series presented as most vocal about their frustration towards Manon not working as hard but essentially being guaranteed a spot in the group and favored by the audience because of her appearance / natural ‘star quality.’ Unfortunately a lot of people interpreted that as Adela being a bitter, jealous “mean girl” and one of the main actors in turning the group against Manon. The reality is that ultimately I feel any fault falls upon the label—even though they don’t make it completely explicit to us who are watching, I found it obvious they brought her in with very different expectations than the rest of the girls and basically promised her she would be a member in the group whereas no one else had that type of reassurance behind the scenes (other than maybe Lara to an extent). I feel like it becomes most clear in that scene where Manon talks to her sister about Son having a separate conversation with her to not be worried about her lack of skill as that’s not what the label was looking for from her and then casually says “I don’t think I’m going to rehearsal today” as if she’s been informed it’s optional for her. It was not abnormal for the other girls (most of them literally teenagers) to find what they saw happening unfair, especially when they were never even told that this one girl was brought in under different circumstances than the rest of them.

Hi king . Are we still getting FLO’s album reaction 🥲

I cannot wait for your reactions to her live performances you’re going to gag like you’ve never gagged before 😭😂 FYI, the little girl in Superscar and Ain’t in LA is her actual little sister! Her mom is also in ain’t in LA :) I adore your reactions so much and have had your Patreon several times over the years and I’m SO glad you reacted to Adéla! And yes homewrecked genuinely is about her father. She speaks again about her daddy issues in red bottoms and therapy. She sings the ending high notes live and eats every time!

This EP is nothing short of incredible. When homewrecked came out followed quickly by Superscar, I knew we had a star on the way. So amazing. This is literally a 10/10 project for me. I can feel the emotions, so I get kind of emotional listening to it, but the tracks get so hype that I can immediately release those feelings. I think Prima is a great introduction for the general, first time listeners. There are some absolute bangers on that album like Red Bottoms and Ain't in LA, plus I love that she's establishing an image and not letting the Dream Academy conversation dominate her narrative, but The Provocateur is everything I want and need. Loved the reaction! I hope you watch the video for DeathbyDevotion and the cute little videos for Homewrecked that features one of our fav Dream Academy girls. I'd love to see your reaction for the work put out by some of the other contestants once you see who else gets eliminated.
