Very late to check this out but the video doesn't work anymore :(

Betty is the only live performance so far from Folklore and cardigan is the only music video. Every song on the album does have a lyric video though!

I'd recommend watching Taylor's documentary Miss Americana on Netflix (even if you don't react to it) before going into Lover and Rep as you don't know much about Taylor herself. I think it just helps you see where she's writing from. Great reaction, looking forward to seeing more ❤

Taylor is such a great performer, and I don't just mean her voice, which sounds just like the recorded versions. She knows how to put on a show, even if it's just a bare stage and her and a guitar/piano. Actually those stripped back performances are some of my favorites from her. Her live performances have always been very captivating to me.

I've always said the best kind of Taylor is with her and her guitar or piano.

Another thing when you get a chance to get to it can you react to The Road to Reputation? It's a documentary on her career from the start to reputation and it really shows her journey. Also Miss Americana is another great documentary to check out.

I was thinking the Road to Reputation first before Miss Americana it would make it make more sense to someone to see her entire story first then go to Miss Americana.

Tal

Can't wait for you to react to the reputation stadium tour on netflix. so good.

Honestly you need to put it all on pause and listen to All Too Well! I deserve that ugly cry rn haha !

Joining the party super late but all the connections between Betty and cardigan are easy to miss bc their so subtle. 1. Cardigan “high heels on cobble stones when you are young they assume you know nothing.” Betty “ I was walking home on broken cobblestone just thinking of you/ I’m only 17, I don’t know anything, but I know I miss you.” 2. Cardigan “to kiss in cars and downtown bars was all we needed” Betty “kissing in my car again.” 3. Cardigan “dancing in your Levi’s drunk under a streetlight.” Betty “stopped at a streetlight…” 4. Cardigan “I know you’d miss me once the thrill expired.” Betty “you know I miss you.” 5. Cardigan “ you’d be standing in my front porch light.” Betty “ would you kiss me on the porch in front of all your stupid friends.” This also works with “I showed up at your party” Plus does anyone else feel weird hearing the clean version of this song and album? Lol I forgot these versions existed.

Bangtan is life

Omg I remember when this happened! Everywhere you could see people say “Betty is coming” and it was trending of Twitter, such a moment ❤️
