It probably won't win but Brokeback Mountain was one of the best films I've ever seen in the big screen. Ang's Lee directing and the 4 main actors are all 10/10, especially Michelle Williams.

It’s not on the list but I seriously think you should consider the movie from 1985 “Paris is burning” !! It’s a documentary on LGBT in the ballroom scene (where vogue dancing comes from) , also shows a lot of slang and popular trends created by them is used today so much!! It’s really good tbh

Moonlight is an absolute masterpiece! even if it doesn't win the poll, I hope you'll get to watch it eventually Also, I'm a huge CMBYN enthusiast, but I would recommend the book 1000000 times over the movie. It's written in a 1st person POV and there's emotions there that could never be translated on screen and I wish everyone who doesn't really like the movie (and I understand why they wouldn't) would read the book to understand why it's such a beautiful story

Everything Everywhere All At Once is an amazing multiverse film that touches on the mother /daughter relationship of an immigrant mother and her gay daughter and I think the nuanced perspectives and exciting action scenes and laugh out loud moments in between emotional scenes make it a great watch, genuinely think even if it doesn't win this poll you should take time to watch it!

I think most people here are too young to have seen it in a movie theather and it hasn't had a resurgence in the online era so they either don't know it or have only hear of the name and that Heath Ledger was in it.

Heartstopper!! After reading the graphic novels. There’s nothing like it. Seasons 2 and 3 confirmed and they tackled hard topics but with a light feeling and in a positive way x

pride won’t win because it’s not very well-known but it’s absolutely fundamental to understand lgbt history in the uk, and it’s beautiful and hopeful and so so so important.

honestly all of these are good movies to watch even outside of pride month but I love Love, Simon even got into reading the book because I saw the movie it was based off of. When I saw this movie for the first time in theaters with my best friend I was sad throughout the whole movie and felt for Simon while she was angry the entire movie...
