the smoke is gone from winterfell because the boltons now occupy winterfell, so you were right. you can see the bolton banners on some of winterfell in the intro if you look close. pretty cool added detail there :)

Season 5 let's goo, this one and season 6 are so good (well they all are to me) ! Lyanna Mormont is a legend " Bear island knows no king but the king in the north, whose name is Stak" . It has been years and Robbs death still hasn't heald :( the king in the north. Lancel Lannister wasn't a big character so i get why u don't remember him lol but he is Cerseis cousin and he was Roberts squire in season one (the one who served him wine) and he also slept with Cersei while Jamie was Cates prisioner, he also was much skinnier and had longer hair. Don't know if that helps

After Oberon's fight with the Mountain, Cercei took the Mountain to Qyburn. Qyburn said that he could save the Mountain, but he would be different after treatment. The Mountain is still on Qyburn's table! It's been a while, but Cercei was also having an affair with her cousin Lancel Lannister. Lancel was Robert's cupbearer. In this episode, Lancel is hinting heavily that he doctored Robert's wine before he was killed by the boar.

also, with the dragon situation. i look at drogon finding dany as a mom and child type of relationship. the previous scene was one of the more stressful and vulnerable dany moments, so i look at us seeing drogon as him just checking on her. don’t know what else to grab at there. anyone else is welcome to add to this.

lastly, i want to add that the ramsey and sansa storyline was not in the books and was created for the show. this is where major differences between the books and the show start to come out, and it’s one of my least favorite storylines in the show.

YAY for these episodes! I love season 5 (i mean i love all seasons so i dont know why i bother distinguishing that lol) ..I also am living for your excitement at a Tyrion & Dany duo... Also, The way i judge what is right/wrong in this show is by seeing how john reacts.... his moral compass is the best there is, so if he thinks its wrong it usually is 1000% wrong lol

Yeah, the character with the shaved head who is one of the new religious fanatics known as the Sparrows is Lancel Lannister, Cersei’s cousin. He had a side role in S1 and had shoulder length hair, so it’s very understandable that you didn’t recognize him! I don’t know if I recognized him on my first watch either! But it was briefly shown in S1 that Cersei also slept with Lancel when Jamie wasn’t around, so now he is back after finding religion and talking about being healed from his past sins (ie. sleeping with Cersei + he also alluded to being a part of the plot to kill Robert Baratheon, rather than it being “accidental boar death”). Hope that helps! Season 5 is a rollercoaster! But when are they not…

Yeah, I think khaleesi's mistake was that the people weren't quite ready for this new form of law and order. She should have used baby steps and eased the citizens into it. Also, the black and white thinking of "you break this law and get death" almost never works. That should be decided on a case-by-case basis, taking into account all circumstances surrounding the event. He was a kid and only knew what society had taught him up to that point.
