onlyastarion

FUCKKK IM SO READY TYSM 💕💕

Mariana

OMG the timing for this couldn't have been better

John Brady

Yes! I agree, perfect timing! 😂

SierraNicole

OH MY GOSH, I just caught up to your GOT reactions an hour ago and was bummed that I'd have to wait for these but I didn't!! YAY! What great timing!

Mariana

Ok, before I keep watching after that amazing intro to the 10th episode, I need to leave this link where they analyze the score and how it plays during that scene. It blew my mind. It's just from minute 5:42 to 11:23 (the whole video is an hour long analyzing the whole episode) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hh-52ptifI&t=688s

Joy

Start of season 7 Here we go 😄

Lydia97

Have played ff7 but that library mostly just reminded me of the owls library in avatar the last airbender

SierraNicole

I really think the death that was the most painful/rage-inducing for people watching when it aired was Princess Shireen's and we ALL wanted to see the Red Woman die for it. Hearing you be like "but she saved Jon Snow" in her defense is so wild to me. haha. I'm like BUT SHE BURNED SHIREEN ALIVE!!! KILL HERRRRR! haha. But I never had the attachment to Jon that you do. He doesn't make my Top 20 even. He's very predictable. And Davos is easily Top 5 favorites. So I'm on his side in the "to execute Melissandre or not" debate. haha Also, I totally agree with Sansa re: Jon. Ned warned Cersei he planned to tell Robert that her kids were all Jamie's and that was a stupid move that lost him his head. Robb reneged on his marriage oath and that was a stupid move that lost him his head and the war. And Jon's already been killed by people he was leading once. If you want to rule, you've got to be at least a little bit of a politician too and Jon doesn't have that in him. Sansa does. She's a survivor and she's survived in the most dangerous of places. She knows the art of ruling.

Adam Geiser

My only question was always this: When they start the “The King in the North” chants, when does it stop? Like who decides when to stop? Does it just fade out until it goes silent? Someone explain

John Brady

There were alot of shocking moments in the finale, but I think Tommen stepping out of the window was by far the most shocking to me. Did not expect that at all!

John Brady

Also, not sure if you noticed, but if you go back and re-watch the scene when Sam is looking up in the Citadel library, they finally show that spinning sun thing we've always seen during the opening credits.

Michael Beveraggi

Do they do every episode? Or just big ones? Very much about to watch this whole thing in bed! Incognito of course :)

Mariana

They did every episode along with theories. Be aware many of their theories are complementary to the books so there may be some "spoilers" making some things about to happen less of a surprise. Another channel I loooved to watch after every episode was Alt Shift X and wow their theories were mind-blowing. Hope you enjoy the rest of season 7 and the videos from these channels 🙌🏻💜

A.B

Ned Stark, becoming more honorable 51 episodes after his death

Lydia97

They were both huge libraries dedicated to preserving knowledge.... Would be awesome to see 😍

Lydia97

I don't remember exactly what was said but that hag/witch cersei met as a kid mentioned all her children would die... So ya was so shocking but I under why he did it, the person he thought he loved died and his mother just murdered many people and he would have felt so bad after all of that....

Tomasina

I was at an Ed concert soon after this episode aired and he apologized for being so hated by everyone. I still haven't forgiven the public for that!

onlyastarion

same for me with jon lol, i like him but he’s definitely not top. i prefer the more morally grey/conflicting characters

Cami

great reaction as always! seeing as you´ve got cersei´s name down now, i´m gonna be that person who comments on dany´s name lmao. it´s pronounced how it´s spelled if that makes sense. so instead of daeneriOUS like you say it, it´s just daeneRYS. Hope that clears it up

Mere

The actor who plays the archmaester Sam was talking to is the same actor who plays professor Slughorn in Harry Potter by the way

John Brady

I think your mispronunciation of names is freakin adorable! 😂😂😂. Don’t change!

R.S

Oh wow that’s why his voice sounded so familiar !

Tiffany

Couldn’t agree more. Her bringing back Jon is nothing compared to burning Shireen alive. I can still hear the screams. She can never be redeemed for me.

Tiffany

Pronounce this stuff however you want. They’re made up words. Who cares?

Joey

When the season 6 finale ended we got news shortly after that there would only be 13 more episodes. From this point I personally made peace with the fact that the Game of Thrones of season 1-6 would be impossible to keep up if they were going to wrap it up in 13 episodes. There's no way they could do the same kind of story telling. The people who are mad about how it ended are mostly in the camp of the pacing and writing. But if you can sit back, keep an open mind, and enjoy the spectacle you'll have a fun ride. Think of it more like a movie now. The writing isn't always tight but it's still the GoT world and in my opinion worth the ride. People who hated the ending have every right to feel that way but there's plenty of us out here who enjoyed every minute of it... even if sometimes there are a few head scratching moments. I can't wait for you to finish!

heronDev3D

To me the show ended after season 6 🫤

heronDev3D

All right! Stop watching now and start House of the Dragon! 😆 I wish the show ended after season 6 but oh well. What can i say about the last seasons that hasn’t been said before. Hope you hate them less than the rest of us 😬….

Julie B

I'm pretty sure Ser Gregor is just going to rape the Septa repeatedly. This is never ok.

Jeremy Page

As for the Starbucks cup, (Which hasn't happened yet) I don't think you will see it. From what I understand, they went back and digitally removed it so anyone streaming the show now won't see it. Only those who recorded it back when it originally aired will have a record of it. Once it's all said and done, you can go back and see some reaction channels point it out as they reacted back when it aired.

ipsssen

Remember when Cat went behind Robb’s back and let Jaime go bc Baelish convinced her it was a good idea? And Sansa got Baelish to help in the battle behind Jon’s back? Sansa really is just a mini Catelyn

Rene Lentsch

6x10 is THE best episode in the show.

Katie Jandrain

Arya seemed hesitant and kept looking at the swords of those soldiers because they were Lannister men. She’s grown up harboring such a hatred for the Lannisters and everyone close to them but then she met these soldiers who fight for the Lannisters who were kind to her for no reason. I think she was waiting for them to grab their swords and turn on her but they never did and I think that made her question things a little bit.

Amanda Sargent

You haven’t missed the cup yet but I think it’s been edited out of the posted versions now. I’ll try to remember to let you know after the episode it was originally in.

kerry berry

I never realized the difference between the writing quality as the show progressed until I watched 6x10 and 7x1 back to back like this SHEESH what a difference

kerry berry

Tbh I would just call her dany😭 it’s so much easier

A.B

the thought of a Targaryen being king in the north is crazy

A.B

Season 7 is enjoyable

A.B

arya cant turn into anybody, but since she killed walder frey she could use his face.

Ghost Mom

I believe she was planning on killing them, which is why she refused food when they offered. That was the big thing about Walder Frey, killing people after inviting people into their home and break bread. By the time she took and accepted their food she didn't feel right about killing them anymore and realized they were just people caught up in this madness same as her they just happened to be wearing the wrong colors.

Talía Caraveo

6X10 Was soo good!!! I hope you enjoy this last seasons, and I know you'll be honest when you don't like certain things, I'm curious to see if that happens and which ones.. I liked Ed's cameo I just wish they would have giving him a little more interaction.. Thank u for another awesome reaction!

Michael Beveraggi

OMG YES I RECOGNIZED HIM but thought it was just someone in the show I had seen. thank you!!!

Michael Beveraggi

I went to Divide tour too & he was SO good. Hate the hate part though!

Michael Beveraggi

Think that’s part of what makes this show so good. So many different characters to connect too! Objectively speaking tho you’re right the Shireen death is unmatched!

Lexsi

When u react to Josh’s ep tomorrow can you do the smoke slow music video and the lifeline music video (he just announced 5 mins ago)

Giu

It's no surprise I never liked Jon Snow, but 6x9 and 6x10 really made me hate him with a new passion. The way he ignores Sansa's opinion on Ramsay for one, but the fact that he completely disregards her experience with him saying "I've been through worse tham Ramsay"??? I'm sorry but he didn't and no men will ever understand this. I can guarantee any woman would rather fight a thousand white walkers than have a glimpse of what Sansa had to endure. And then he has no problem admiting he and all of their men would be dead if it wasn't for Sansa and calling her the true Lady of the North in private, but has absolutely no mind to do the same in front of the other houses, when people decided he was suddenly a king, when he literally sent all of his men into a trap because he's terrible at war planning and keep trying to play the hero all the time instead of maybe thinking for a second. I've been through this when watching this show for the first time, but rewatching it is making me hate him ever more

elisa

It’s amazing to see your reaction to Jon’s heritage! When the show was airing Jon being Lyanna’s son was one of the most popular theories so most people weren’t too surprised when it was confirmed, me included. so seeing someone who had no idea hyped me so much, I was so excited!

Andreja Vladic

Now that you know the truth please watch/react to R+L=J from Robbie McD on YouTube. Many watched it after this episode to unterstand everything better about Jon’s parents. There where hints to this point in the show but you won't understand until you see the show a second time after you know the truth. And it's all summed up in the video R+L=J. It’s spoiler free for the future episodes/Seasons.

Amanda Shepherd

I'm curious if you will feel the same because you're binging it. Because ultimately the main issue with 7 and 8 are the pace, but you're inherently seeing things faster than those of us who watched it in real time. I am of the opinion that had they written the story they had left and realistically considered how many episodes they needed, they could've told the identical story they did. Instead they said we only want 13 more episodes so we have to make the story fit that. Either way, I'm in the camp of it's still one of the greatest shows of all time.

locotoko

Can you please check out Vikings next, If you love game of thrones then you’ll love Vikings

Adam Geiser

I agree with you on this. When I had first watched it, I completely binged the whole thing. During season 7 I didn’t particularly notice the pacing, but it’s when you go back to rewatching older seasons where it stuck out for me. I’ve heard rumors that HBO had thought about giving this show like 10 seasons or something but the writers and producers wanted it done faster. Could be wrong on that though I just remember hearing about that. Regardless I still love this show and franchise. I’m patiently waiting for George to release the last book so that I can read them all. 🤣

Adam Geiser

Yeah I feel like the cats out of the bag with him on that theory. Might as well😂

Adam Geiser

and some people are still stuck on calling her Khaleesi 😂

SierraNicole

Yes. I think a lot of women from here on out saw Jon Snow as the representation of all the comparatively mediocre white men in their offices that get props and respect and perks for the work of women or at the expense of women who deserve it more. And I think that feeling was exacerbated by the political climate of when it was airing (2016-18). My girlfriends and I watched it together and all felt the same way about him the last few seasons.

N_JR

Damn I’m 3 days late! Didn’t even know you posted the finale already lol. There’s a video on YouTube that I think you should react to called “R+L=J Who is Jon’s Mother” by Robbie McD. It’s a very well done video compilation of all the hints in the show about who Jon’s real parents are.

moon

when you finish everything, go watch this video, it explains a lot of mistakes and how the writers messed up the characters. everyone can have their opinion and tastes, but when it comes to what happened last season, I don't think it's just opinion, it really doesn't make sense what they did, and this video is good because it explains a lot: https://youtu.be/Yc0dwLYUUkE

Rosie ♥︎

I know it’s early but you need to watch the reunion show after this! They also filmed a behind the scene for the last series!

kerry berry

Patiently waiting for the next episodes to drop so rewatching this again🥰

Dakota Billie

I think the "issue" as you get towards the end of the show is that it sells itself very well. I think the issues really start for me in season 6, even tho eps 9 & 10 are brilliantly executed. I think my biggest problem is in Jon's resurrection, and really even his death. Up through season 5, the show thrives off of a grounded feeling that no one is safe. As soon as Jon is brought back, the stakes are never going to be as high for his character. Granted the show feels a little heartless without Jon so it feels rewarding when he comes back. I think it's the first time they choose flashy twist over grounded storytelling. The writers, while trying to keep the viewers intrigued, start sticking small holes in the story's sail until it's dead in the water. And it's disappointing cuz you don't really realize the ship has sunk until you've drowned. I don't want to ruin anything, it's a decently entertaining ride until it isn't. I'm excited to see your thoughts after it's over!
