ITS HERE. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVES. I already need the music videos/film

I saw the 3am version announcement as I was editing why is she like this I must sleep😭

Comments

rylres

"Mr. Roger and Taylord collab!" made me laugh so hard 😂

Aubrey

Absolutely cracking up about the pens, too funny 😂 on my first listen to Midnights I wasn’t sure how I felt about a lot of the tracks either, but months later and I adore the album. Midnight rain, sweet nothing, and mastermind are definitely my top 3

Hannah Jenkins

The way my heart rate sped up when you said you were going to listen out of order…

Jordan

you're on your own kid is maybe my favorite because of the ending and the lines that broke me a little were "I gave my blood sweat and tears for this" and "I hosted parties and starved my body"

Emily

So curious what your thoughts are now after sitting with the album. Did vigilante shit grow on you?

KellONeill

Aww man - I specifically paid to see you react to Taylor and am a bit bummed that the original Folklore reaction is missing and the Midnights one isn't working. You have the most insightful and genuine reactions too....any chance they'll be re-uploaded?

Yaro Yani

Agreed with comment above, any chance this video is going to be fixed? I subscribed to see this specific video :(

Ashley Marie

Also she is talking about her albums. 1989- hosted parties and starved my body Reputation- the jokes weren’t funny Red- you never cared (I knew you were trouble) blood soaked gown could also be RED because of the I bet you think about me video where she is wearing a red gown. Speak now- I gave my blood sweat and tears for this. She wrote this entirely on her own. Fearless- perfect kiss- love story also he’s gonna notice me is kinda like you belong with me Debut- picked the petals sounds like our song to me because of video where she is surrounded by flowers.

Christina

Why are your stopping the song every 30 seconds? Listen to the whole song and then talk. Holy shit.

Christina

I can’t even. Were in her writing session where you know what she meant? You aren’t even getting half the lyrics on. It’s unlistenable. You absolutely suck. Literally shut up.

Ethan

Lol you're like the worst kind of people. Why subscribe to someone and then be an asshole about HIS reactions. Christina you suck

Kimberly Thom

Questions is a story about Selena and justin

Ian Hillan

I f*n love Midnights and always will. Well deserved AOTY Grammy. Knowing now that it was kind of a breakup album hurts, but takes nothing at all away from its brilliance.

Ian Hillan

Hey don't know if you still see these notifs but I would love to see your reaction to Hits Different if you for some reason haven't heard it yet. Such a well written, performed and recorded song.

RepTVgirly_showgirl

Incest blowing around 😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️ I'm binging your whole Taylor journey! I needed the belly laugh that just came from misspeaking incest and incense ☠️

RepTVgirly_showgirl

There was approximately 546 pens on the floor by the end 🤣

Danika Rae

Michael, my god!! That was fkn quick, we have to Stan 🙏😂

Bee

my god you're fast. love this for me.

Ivy Maureen

GOOD MORNING. can't wait to watch, starting now!! Love a fellow swiftie

evelyn🌷

i wasn’t expecting your reaction so soon. AH CANT WAIT. 3am version is so good btw. cant wait to see that too!

McKenna

anti-hero is my number one but with the 3am version would’ve, could’ve, should’ve is a close second!!

Michael Beveraggi

I fucked up not putting it in my faves because I’m laying in bed and anti-hero is specifically keeping me up

McKenna

no literally 10 seconds in it already had me in a chokehold i was like yup this is it

Musings Of Michael

The way you fucking always get it I swear your album reactions are unmatched 😫

onlyastarion

i’ve seen people surprised with this album because it isn’t like folkmore but i wasn’t expecting it to be like those two albums lol. first listen i was in love, second listen i was like “damn … this is really good” and third listen it’s lowkey becoming my favorite album.

evelyn🌷

cant believe how quickly midnights dethroned every other album for me. it gets better and better!

onlyastarion

same haha !! it’s so good i’m in love

Ben Woods

Dylan O'Brien did the drums on Snow On The Beach! She really has adopted Sadie and Dylan haha.

Ida Lisby

Loved it - and your reaction was on point 🤩🙏🏻 my favorites must be sweet nothings and labyrinth 😍

grace

what a mind 😍 honestly this was the best first impression i've had with a taylor album i've been listening on release day since 1989 and there's usually tracks i need warming up to but i actually was really into every single song especially the first half. top songs for me probably anti hero, you're on your own kid, midnight rain, and bejeweled but this shit is right up my alley and i can't wait to go broke on tour tickets

Vronnie

this album is now living rent free in my brain and i cant get Anti-Hero, Vigilante Shit, Karma, Mastermind and Bigger Than The Whole Sky out of my head! i went to sleep humming "its me, hi, im the problem its me" on repeat! 😂

Tabassum

I'm in Dallas and I stayed up till like 3am to hear the original songs and then the drop of the 7 new songs. then woke up at 6:30am to see the Anti-hero music video. Blondie I am running on like 4 hours of sleep since Wednesday. I am afraid if I sleep I will miss something.

Tabassum

I love this album and the song, such a different sound and feeling. I think its one of my faves!

Danique

Watching the video right and for the line in Maroon thats like “the rust that grew between telephones” personally i thought it was because they didnt call/speak anymore hence “the lips i used to call home” AAAAH okay commenting as i go through this album with you im so excited!!!

kerry berry

karma is on absolute repeat today

Melissa Ryan

Maroon was my favorite upon first listen. I’m excited to hear your thoughts on them, and I agree with the 3am thing. I passed out before I could listen!

Portia Crain

My favorites are maroon, anti-hero and sweet nothings.. can't wait to listen to your reaction :)

Portia Crain

So 2 mins in no music played and I already had to pause to comment... you talked about how Taylor means so much to story tellers, and i just got to say I owe Taylor my career. She is the reason at a young age that I realized you could make someone feel so much with just words and since I heard fearless the first time at age 11 I knew that I wanted to be a writer.

Jenna

michael…i had to stop and i say i genuinely gasped when you said you were going out of order and just STARED at my screen because i was so scared. laughed at myself so much when you said that you weren’t doing that of course because why would i ever doubt you like that. you HAD ME IN THE FIRST HALF I WAS SO. SCARED.

Tiffany

Great album, great reaction. Can’t wait for your take on the 3am songs and the anti-hero music video

Jenna

I haven’t even gotten halfway through your reaction, but I NEED you to know I love this album and thank you for loving it too.

kerry berry

also lavender haze and maroon OMG

kerry berry

i just know john mayer woke up in a cold sweat at 3am after would've could've should've dropped

Amanda M.

Fav tracks are maroon, vigilante shit, anti-hero and every other track, but those are definitely at the top.

Allison V

So happy to listen to a new Taylor album with you again! Can’t wait to see your reaction to the anti hero music video! 💙✨

Allison V

also you bringing out the bingo thing, I can’t 💀😂

Michael Beveraggi

Portia I LOVE knowing this about you thank you for sharing that!! 💗

cass

kinda disappointed lana didn’t get a verse in snow on the beach, but their voices together is so good <3

Talía Caraveo

I was so excited to watch your reaction!! It was amazing! I was laughing but also shocked when you show the device for selecting songs haha I just love your commitment and sense of humor! I love this album, also as this is my second listen, still there's a few songs that I don't love, but I want to give it time.. Love snow on the beach, but I wanted more display of lana in the verses and chorus, what they did was beautiful, i just think they missed and opportunity to do something even more beautiful. My favorites as this moment are Lavender haze, Snow on the beach, Anti hero, Karma, Bejeweled, Sweet nothing.. And from de 3am edition, which I hope you do.. Paris, Would've, Could've, Should've, and Dear reader.. Also excited for that and the Anti Hero music video reaction! Love your reactions and energy, thank u for bringing joy to my days! :)

ariel

ahh glad to be experiencing taylor with you again! i agree with you that some of those songs in the middle weren't my favorite but i do appreciate her choosing to be vulnerable with us. that takes a lot of courage from anyone but especially doing that when you already have so many eyes on you has to be a lot and that isn't lost on me. i agree on all the favorites and labyrinth also brought me to tears. that fear of breaking down your walls and being real and falling love with someone when you've been hurt and burned so many times before is such a real and relatable feeling. and man sweet nothings is just so beautiful and the fact that her and joe wrote that one together makes me so emotional and happy for her. thanks for once again taking the time to give a great reaction and i cant wait to see how you feel about the 3am songs!

Jayde Ritchey

I loved the production, and she sounds great, but this album didn't connect with me on some level. Loved your reaction, though! Listening to an album with you is always such a good time

Julie B

Sir, the bingo cage. LOL! I heard reputation as soon as the album started too! I'm still adjusting to all the new lyrics and sonics, but this bodes well for the long term for me. I recognize that this makes me sound pretty square, but I listened to both the explicit and clean versions of the album last night. I think I like "Snow on the Beach" better clean. It's such a tender love song that the F-bomb is a bit jarring. There's also the lyric "Vegas acrobat" in "Karma," which I think is pretty good too. I also stayed up until 2:30 CDT to listen to the 7 bonus tracks. I am running on fumes. There were a few clues on social media that hinted at a double album. The official hashtag was #TSmidnighTS, doubling the TS. There was at least one tweet from Taylor Nation with two clocks. There was a tweet from Aaron Dessner that "things aren't necessarily how they seem." There were plenty more little things like that. I'm sure there is a YouTuber or TikToker that has put it all together! As always, thanks for your excellent reviews and the timeliness of this one!

chimelle6

Your wrap up at the end was nearly exactly what I was thinking! Though I think karma has to be my favorite strictly for the line ‘karma is a cat purring in my lap cause it loves me’. I just latched onto that lyric, I love it so much.

labyrinthpeaches

Happy Midnights! This was so great to watch, I'm still processing the album so I think this definitely helped me work through it a little more :D I think my favourites at the moment are Vigilante Shit, Bejeweled, Karma, Sweet Nothing and Mastermind, I'll save my favourites from the 3am tracks for that reaction! Being a Taylor fan is so intense :D Always love how appreciative you are of the details of her songs and the lyrics and melodies, your reactions are are joy to watch <3

Emma Rustlie

Can you please react to Noah Kahans new albums Stick Season!!! I think you would love it!

Michael Beveraggi

lmao I would have deserved a full cancellation Jenna 🙇‍♂️

ariel

seconding this!

Beth Stokes

Drove to Target, picked up Midnights, drove around in the car and listened to the entire cd with my daughter and I said "Michael is gonna throw a pen when he hears these songs"!! Lol - You and Taylor, never disappoint! Much love and thank you for your reactions!

Lailah

i loved the album after the first listen, but now spending even more time with it (still less than 24 hours LOL), it is such a grower. the things i found a bit different at first are now some of my favorite things!!

Jared

I’ve listened to the album 6 or 7 times now and it gets even better with each listen. I’m finding it so hard to pick favorites because they keep changing with each new listen. For the moment my top five are Maroon, Anti-Hero, Mastermind, Paris, and Karma. But that list has been different every time I finish it again.

Erica

Just started watching and so excited to hear your thoughts, but just commenting that I'm so happy you watch Bonny and Emily too! Love Chats and Reacts!!!

Nicolett

Just when I thought she couldn’t come for me anymore emotionally SHE RELEASED THIS You’re on your own, kid, Anti-Hero, & Midnight Rain felt like she grabbed my inner thoughts and put them into music for me.

Julie B

I think these are my favorites too. 🥰

Marcella Raponi

"Mr Rogers and Taylor"! I'm dead! LOL!!!! FYI Vigilante Shit is about Mr Scooter himself! Yup it sure is! Listen to it again! Nobody F@@@@@@ with Tay!! Love her!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best album ever!! Can't wait for the other tracks and watch a shit load of PENS fly like planes in your studio!

Soren Skogen

You scared me so much with the ball spinner and the idea you might listen to them out of order 😂😭 It's like you decided to start the reaction with a horror skit, and I thought you didn't like horror as a genre!

Vronnie

for once ive never been more glad to live in Australia as in this instance! it premiered at 2pm here, so it was 5pm and 10pm that shit kept coming... didnt stop me from staying up late repeat listening tho lol. but id be a sleep deprived neurotic mess if i was in the US

Vronnie

Also... you had me in hysterics at the beginning with the lottery wheel! 😂

Isabella

Great reaction to a great album! Do you have any plans to release your HSMTMTS 3 reactions at all?

Vronnie

ALSO... the Stranger Things synths in Mastermind had me from the beginning... and im convinced that Vigilante Shit is channeling Billie Eilish/Finneas production

Ellis Hale

So much respect for you loving this so much on first listen - it was just starting to grow on me more on my third listen when the bonus songs dropped 😅 loved this and can’t wait to see those!

Hunter Kuehn

Maroon, mastermind, Labrynth. What a wonderful concept album. I think this might dethrone 1989 as my fave album. Midnight Rain. The track 5. The Lana collab. Fucking Maroon though. That is one of her best songs. Like All too Well tier. Fight me.

Charlie

Maroon is her best chorus in a song ever there I said it!!! This is such a good album Ms Swift has done it again.

Caitlin Goerlich

Finally got to watch this and as usual, love your reaction!! I'll be honest, when I first listened through it—I wasn't sure about it. But after re-listening it with you, it made me appreciate it more. I think my favorite songs from these 13 songs are Labyrinth, Question...?, Karma, Anti-Hero, and Sweet Nothing. And omg I love your Mr. Rogers references LOL I loved Mr. Rogers. I mean ... who didn't? Can't wait for you to check out the 3am songs!! :)

Soren Skogen

Some of my favorite moments in your videos are when you throw things because the moment requires something to be thrown.

Prem Parekh

By the way, Maroon is not about Joe, I think you just barely missed how she changed the start of the second chorus from I chose you to I lost you, from all the lyrical and musical parallels, it feels like it is about Jake/Red era. (The whole album is about different times throughout her life so us social media swifties have been trying to catch all of them and find what era they are about!

Lindsay McQuaid

“Taylor Swift is in her hickey era” Hahahahaha the way my 20 year old self relates to that so much! Thanks for truly making me laugh out loud at a small airport in Thailand!

JillianK

Now we need the 3AM tracks

Bangtan is life

Burgundy, Scarlet, Rust and Maroon are different shades of red 😊

Bangtan is life

Anti-hero really makes you take a good look at yourself and do some reflecting, which I’m never prepared to do😅😭 besides that one, Lavender Haze, Vigilante Shit and Karma are my top favorite as of right now! I really do love The Great War from the 3am edition too, probably more to come lol

Bangtan is life

Spider Boy= Scooter Braun /Scott Borchetta “my pennies made your crown”

Alexia Pollock

You should react to olivia rodrigo's cover of creep! its on youtube. She was only 14 but it is amazing and I think you would really enjoy it!

Jayla

when is the hsmtmts reactions coming out

Austin

This is so random but you should totally think about watching her "city of lover" performance for lover if you haven't already, it has some of my favorite live vocals from her 😩

Lexsi

im honestly not a fan of taylor but i did like folklore. i wasnt a fan of the album except a few songs. i was wondering if for the next custom requests you could do the ones i love by olivia rodrigo. its on youtube and its scrapped from sour. also youll know it when u see it but idk if the lyric is life or light. also if ur doing any more album reactions nessa barrett dropped her debut album young forever and so did noah cyrus its called the hardest part. genuinly 2 of my favorite albums right now. lastly, will hsmtmts be coming soon? sorry if this comment is a bit overwhelming.

Soren Skogen

I would love if he reacted to this and also her cover of Cruel Summer!

McKenzie Monroe

Maroon, Questions, Labyrinth and Midnight Rain are just *chefs kiss*

Paula

Pennies not panties :']

Hanneva

Did you know that Taylor and Joe wrote Sweet nothings together? :’)

TSTS1989

I was having a panic attack and trying to distract me I decided to watch this video (I have been listening to Midnight non-stop and didn't want to watch a reaction before I really got the album), now I'm feeling emotional in the best way, once again that amazing swiftie connection, thank you. Also this is why you are my goat of content creators, Labyrinth was my instant favorite and it made me really tear up and watching you feeling the song just made me sob again. PS: My top 5 favorites from the OG 13 are Labyrinth, Midnight Rain, Anti-Hero, Maroon and Sweet Nothing.

Sarah

Looking forward to the 3am songs reactions!

Giu

so excited for the 3am songs, mostly for would've, could've, should've and high infidelity lyrics!!

Michael Beveraggi

Hi friend!!! Sending you SO MUCH LOVE & love your top 5 & the mutual tears (in a happy way) & really just so warmed to be able to be there when you needed it & I am thinking of you ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Prem Parekh

Legend has it that 13 pens ended up on the floor of Michael Beveraggi's room this fine night of October 21st, 2022

JJ

I have to say I always thought Taylor Swift was an amazing song writer, however I never really listened to her much because I was not a fan of her voice. I really like this album and her voice just feels right with this. So definitely have to give credit where credit is due and look back at some of her other albums now.

Xene

WHEN THE VIDEO STARTED ZOOMING IN DURING VIGILANTE SHIT, I LEGIT THOUGHT MY MONITOR WAS FALLING OVER!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

B

I have to tell the meaning behind you’re on your own, kid because I also didn’t understand it at first but when it clicks it’s sooo good. the first verse is her in high school in her small town, she’s at a party searching for the guy she has a crush on and sees girls way prettier than her and it seems like maybe he never met up with her or just didn’t pay any attention to her. the second verse describes her using that feeling to write songs and “something different bloomed” she decided to pursue her dreams of being a singer instead. but throughout the process, she discovers there are other girls prettier and better than her that want the same thing. her dreams aren’t rare so she has to work even harder. by the bridge, she tells the story of how she made it to the top but it came at a price. “I gave my blood sweat and tears for this. I hosted and parties and starved my body” she endured misogyny and the constant serial dater/crazy girl jokes that she laughed along with or played into “the jokes weren’t funny, I took the money” aka record deals and business opportunities. but ultimately the highs outweighed the lows. she doesn’t regret it. she made her dreams come true. it’s a very bittersweet song 🥹

Indrė Duobaitė

Thank you for making me laugh so much from the flying pens everywhere 😂
