Big vouch for Les Mis, but if that ends up winning, I’d do the actual musical, not the movie…the movie has it’s moments but also adds, removes, and changes a few songs, so I’ll definitely advocate for that! Lots of great other options though, can’t wait to see what ends up winning (:

Grease and Rent are must watch ones. If you do Grease, you'll notice similarities between it and HSM. HSM was called the "Grease for the new generation." Plus please do the Fox LIVE version afterwards. Vanessa Hudgens was amazing in it.

Les Mis is a must watch simply because the vocals are live not lipsynch. That alone makes it a completely different feel, and the raw emotion and the force and exertion of singing those songs live makes it so much more impactful.

I'm so hyped for more musicals! One of my proudest accomplishments as a parent is having two adult children who love musicals. Moulin Rouge has a special place in my heart. Dreamgirls is so, so good. And Grease is the show that started it all for me.

It seems to me like the Les Mis movie gets sooo much hate, and I understand its has some difference from the stage production and the actors aren't all classically trained, but in my opinion it makes it all that much more impressive. These are people who have dedicated their lives to acting, gave a great screen performacne while also showing that they just happen to have been extremely talentend singers as well. I thought it was a great screen production, and agree with you on the live vocals. They did a great job with the whole project, imo.

I figured for something like this the movie was better. The cinematography is breathtaking and the scale brings a sense of immersion that doesn't compare although the music was more complete in the actual musical and yes they left out and added some stuff in the movie, the live vocals plus the acting caliber make up for a lot of it. The movie really opened up this story to a new audience that the musical couldn't have reached and for that, I give it the credit it deserves. I've seen Les Mis on stage and it is amazing and by far superior but on the screen, the movie is the better version. I'm glad am not alone in appreciating what it brought cause I also have heard the hate in the past.

I know it didn’t do well on the last poll, but you should watch Come From Away even if it’s in your own time and not a reaction. They recorded the cast (similar to the hamilton video on Disney+) for Apple TV+ and it’s amazing and such a heartwarming story 💓

I just finished watching your Sofia Carson request video and made me think about her in the Cinderella: if the shoe fit movie I know you would love it and the soundtrack is amazing for this movie and her voice is just amazing in this movie hopefully this could be on the next poll

If you are gonna do Phantom of the Opera, I would recommend watching the 25th anniversary stage version rather than the movie, it's absolutely amazing!

Thought of another movie. Its not a musical but music plays a HUGE role in it. Bandslam with Vanessa Hudgens, Aly Michalka, Scott Porter, and Lisa Kudrow. Such an underrated movie.
