Been waiting a long time to watch this!

Again there's a spoiler chat area on discord in the forum section for anyone who wants to discuss the show freely! (I won't go in there till the shows over, no worries)

Saharaaa

OMG YES MICHAEL!!! I literally just finished watching this for the first time it’s incredible😍

donna

IM SO HAPPY YOURE WATCHING THIS

Yessy

This has been on my watchlist for a MINUTE... Excited to watch this along with you!

Mariana

Omg yes!!!! I wanted to rewatch before the finale (whenever that happens) 🙌🏼

ray

wish you’d done the subbed version (found on crunchyroll) thou im so happy ur watching this!!

donna

i also prefer sub over dub, but its up to everyones preference! luckily the dubbed version is pretty decent imo!

ray

definitely! wonder if he'd rewatch ep1 w subs instead to form his own preference in regards to aot ? ik he discussed it in the beginning, but id still love for him to have seen both n then choose based on that ;) either way i'm excited for the journey :))

Zoe Cardona

Yayyyy I’m so exited for these reactions. If you find this show interesting you should also definitely check out castlevania, it has a similar vibe and is really good

Daco

You should watch Aot in subbed, I think watching a show in its original language is always the best experience.

Heather

Ohhh Castlevania is so good.

rose hannah

I was hoping you were gonna watch this, you are in for such a ride!

onlyastarion

oh god i’m so ready for this, i do wish you’d chosen sub as the VAS for sub are like … masterful. some of my fav vas in anime

Heather

I’ve never seen this, so I’m really glad to watch this one for the first time!

donna

Oh yeah, this show is brutal, I'll be calmer if you prepare your baseball bat for the next watch! 😭 It's so nice to rewatch this masterpiece with you, 'cause you always have amazing insights, understanding and empathy for every situation/character. I'm so excited to hear your opinion on my favorite characters. And yes, this anime is full of amazing soundtracks and the openings/endings are real bangers. The first one just hits different all the time, the nostalgia !! The way that Carla died always gets me, it's so emotional and sad. It hurts to see Eren getting traumatized at such a young age, especially when he is this driven kid with the desire to experience freedom beyond the walls. He is lucky to have Armin and Mikasa by his side! And Hannes running like a coward is just understandable lmao, cannot blame him, I'd do the same thing. Excited for the next upload!!!

onlyastarion

yeah i hope maybe he’ll consider it haha. it wasn’t as much of a challenge as i thought it’d be when i first watched sub (aot was one of my first !! so i was still getting used to it)

LondonNicole

I just decided to start watching a new anime today and I was deciding between AOT and Demon Slayer and picked Demon Slayer! Watched two episodes and now you've posted this so I feel like I have to switch now

Booryanne

Oh I am STOKED to watch these with you again! You are going to LOVE it. It's going to bring you so many thoughts and emotions. I'm so excited for you to watch THAT episode as well. Iykyk.

Bethany

IM SCREAMING THANK YOU FOR STARTING THIS PT. 2

mammalay

Yaay one of my favourite anime

cass

sosososo excited for this! definitely watch in whatever format you’re comfortable with! personally, I think the dub is one of the better ones I’ve heard. this show is very rewatchable so you can always go back and rewatch with sub after you finish like you said!

Julie

OMG it’s my favourite anime, can’t wait for your future reactions to what’ll happen next 🔥

cass

also yes, this show is fairly terrifying🤠

Tomasina

I watched this show until I started getting nightmares...here's hoping I can make it through this time

Amanda S.

My husband has been trying to get me to watch this for years. I guess it's time 😂

Khayta

Best day ever. He started TLOK AND AOT. My top three shows ever are ATLA, AOT, and Stranger Things. He’s watched all three. Korra is in my top 5!

Rose

so happy youre watching this!! i seriously recommend giving the subbed version a go, though - i feel like a lot of nuance is lost in the dub, sadly :(

Vanessa

watch haikyuu next the dub is so good

ellie

there’s this really unknown and underrated anime that’s really good i love it a lot but i dont think anyone else knows it the manga sold like 5 copies you should totally watch it its called fullmetal alchemist

Vanessa

Super Happy you are watching AOT! But maybe you shouldn't watch the Openings and Endings, cause there are heavy spoilers in them especially in the later seasons

onlyastarion

agreed, id love the dub a lot more if so much wasn't lost. i also prefer most vas over the english ones.

Rose

me too! yuki kaji does an amazing job especially

Anonymous

I was in high school when this came out and the first way I saw about it was the weird kids wearing the cape all the time at school

Cassie

This is one of my favorites anime (nana and madoka magica being the other in the top3) so i'm very glad you're watching it!

Eefa

Aw man, I don't think I can do this one since Eren's dub VA is truly so incredibly irritating, but I really hope you enjoy this show despite a bit of whingeing here on my part, it is truly one of the most gripping and awesome pieces of media today. Love this channel and your passion and care for all the media we send you Michael, you're truly one of the coolest and kindest souls on the platform! Might still pop in for the big events just to see your joy :)) also loving catching up on your Sex Education binge rn, hope things are going well!

IBG_Music

I prefer the sub, but it's such a good show, so I'll try to watch this with you. Honestly just glad you're experiencing it.

Chimpman

Damn, I got excited when I joined and saw you were watching this, too. It's too bad it's dub and not sub. The sub is really worth it if only for Eren Jaegar's voice. Oh well. Hope you enjoy the show.
