Aninha Silva

Hey Michael, hope you're doing well! I'm wondering if/when you're doing the new Ed Sheeran documentary and album??

Lailah

jassihere

Oh I JUMPED 🥹🫶🏾

Nattie Dior ⁷

so glad you watched this before Homecoming bc yes their is so much in it about race identity also in the concert performance. the photos the woman were holding up one was Trevon Martian and his mother the others where all black men who had been killed due to police brutality i also recommend listing to the album b/c not every song was played in full but Beyonce gave us a masterful piece of art i agree

Tomasina

Yeah, what I took away was people are missing from the table, like Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown. because we (the black community) are being taken away just as in slave times

Soren Skogen

Very excited to watch this!!

Brianna

I'm so happy you watched this! This visual album is so iconic. As the comment said above me the song Forward and the photographs were all victims of police brutality. The scene of Michael Browns mom holding his photo just makes me cry every time, it's so emotional. And the clip about making lemons into lemonade is Jay Z's grandmother!

Tomasina

I think Formation in the culmination of everything discussed in the album. The public and media had been hassling her about illuminati, cheating, and not giving enough to the black community for years. So all the lyrics especially "you know you that bitch when cause all this conversation" is everything!!!

chimelle6

Not your jayz impersonation. 🤣 On a more serious note, this is such a raw and honest album and the visuals add sooo much.

Makenna

omg am i dreaming

ipsssen

was not expecting this at all and I’m SO PUMPED

Dominique

This made my day, can't wait for Homecoming! Also she has a beautiful visual album for the music she made to go alongside the new Lion King movie called Black is King on Disney+ that I think you would enjoy as well

Nuhamin G

Please please checkout Black is King after homecoming because the visuals and the music😫😫 it was suck an important album to me personally and many of my African friends too. I think you would absolutely love it!

Angelique

One of the photos was of Trayvon Martin, and his mom was holding the picture.

Elisha Burrus

OMG such a good reaction! I cant wait for Homecoming! Its soooo good I watch it every few weeks just to hype myself up.

Qweencasss

Watched your 4/renaissance reaction a few hours ago and now I’m here. Can you tell I love me some Beyoncé reactions. I just love everyone seeing her brilliance am watching this movie for the 100th time 😬 you saying you not ready had me laughing so hard 😭🤣 cause nope!

Qweencasss

I recommend listening to the dissect podcast on Spotify on lemonade they did extensive research on the visuals and songs it has helped me understand the film in such a deep way. It is beautiful I think you’ll love it. Lemonade is truly her best work and such an important album in history!

Bishara Pierre

I would very very much also like to recommend season 6 of the Dissect podcast.

candiedcams

I always enjoy your reactions/perspectives because it's like seeing/hearing the art again for the first time!

Brandi Marie

rewatching this again. I hope you can do Black is King soon 🖤

Helena

Even though this is an old video, it is one of the best reaction to this lemonade visual I’ve seen. You can tell you really do love music & art & how you got her story and meaning so right. I loved how you even broke down the stages she went through with the poem’s was absolutely beautiful. I’ve just signed up on patron because you Beyoncé reaction’s are amazing. If you see this I hope you can react to more Beyoncé live stuff or even her other documentaries she has a lot from early on in her solo career all the way to the renaissance film documentary. ❤️

I think this album itself would be a great relisten, due to the fact the full songs are not included in this. They are cut off. 💜💜
