sza is really the female frank ocean with the way she can make a stream of consciousness with very little structure sound like a pretty song

Finally got the time to actually watch this lol and wanted to say, some of the voice memos throughout are SZA’s grandma. She passed relatively recently and they were very close so it’s really special for her to be immortalized in her granddaughters music.

Drew Barrymore is one of my favourites on this album, too! She had a little cameo in the music video, also, which is really nice. As for why the track is called Drew Barrymore, Drew was on Hot Ones and was asked about it, and apparently, SZA told her it was named after a feeling that she associates with the thought of Drew, which I think is really interesting!
