Hey Michael! Do you think you'll open the tier for custom requests again any time soon?

Iva Morris-Covey

Taemin: he said that this song (and m/v) is a metaphor for his career. He debuted at the age of 14, so I'm sure he's seen the good and the bad up close and personal. If you think those vocals are good, you should watch him perform it live. He's insane. (His album is a mini-one but definitely worth the listen, if for nothing more than watching your face when you hear 'The Rizzness' lol G-Dragon: The song is called 'Untitled, 2014' and for sure it was real. I love his voice. GD is a performer from start to finish. As far as recent news, just remember that it's ALL FALSE and the K-Media is using his name to distract from political scandal. I hope he sues every false reporting agency. His lawyers said he would :D

Mina

Yay, I love Seventeen! Would definitely be happy for you to do more of them of course. All of their albums are amazing, but they just released a new ep in october called Seventeenth Heaven with 7 great songs. Also they also have an episode of Dingo Killing Voice (the thing nct127 did where they sing snippets of their songs) if youre interested to watch.

Heather

I love Victoria Victoria! How I know of this group: The husband of one of my best friends produces their albums, and she (my best friend) did the album promo photography for the album “To The Wayside”.

IBG_Music

OMG when I saw HI Ren here, I lost my shit!

Lizzy

SEVENTEEN!!! Yes!!! The harmonizing of the two vocalist are Seungkwan and DK but the specific person you are complimenting is probably DK. They are both the main vocalists of the group though!! Also “why did we stop listening to seventeen?!” Got me 😂😂 id love to see them on your polls, they’re a talented lovely bunch and I think you’d love a lot of their work (especially their performances 👀)

jupiter!

Please react to more REN if and when you can, he really is an incredible and versatile artist. The songs I most recommend is The Tale of Jenny and Screech, Sick Boi, Money Game Part 3 – there is a trilogy but the 3rd part can stand on its own and is the most popular and Su*cide accompanied with For Joe is also something really special.

chimelle6

Omg yessss! 1000% down for a Taemin album reaction … really any and all Taemin content! 🤣 it’s a mini album so it’s pretty short being just under 20 min. For funs here is a link to Jimin doing the Guilty dance challenge with Taemin on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Czqg0jDvXR6/?igshid=ZWI2YzEzYmMxYg== And yes to the IU praise! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Jhope was on first, then Yoongi/Suga. Jhope definitely brings more energy than Yoongi as expected, but he is relatively much more chill when he is alone than when he is with the rest of the guys. 🤣

Emily

oops sorry forgot to include the titles but they were “how much is weed?” “mamas boy” “3 nights” “come here” and “bodies” and he usually tries to emulate the voice effects he uses on the album!

Kathryn T

Hey Michael, any chance your going to react to Jungkook's Golden showcase? It was a 2 hour "concert" where he sang all the songs from Golden plus a few bonuses and he chatted with us. It was truly lovely. There's no official upload but if you want to check it out we can get you a link

jennptx

👀 was definitely part of the Taemin talk in Discord, thanks to chimelle! I have so much respect and awe for that man. So talented!!! And SEVENTEEN. I love them enormously. I saw them in Houston last year, and they're amazing. I'm seeing another concert in cinemas in a couple weeks, because they're on tour right now in Asia. You've only just, just scratched the surface, Michael!! So, I will be here for anything you want to listen to from the last 9 years from them. So, so many good songs, and they're really delightful humans. Also, if you ever decided to do a Palette double feature with Hobi and Yoongi, I will be the first one wrapped in a blanket with a warm beverage watching. Together with IU, those are 3 of my top comfort people in the world, and as a host, she's really delightful and you know there's never going to be a bad song with her and her band. Just like Suchwita, Palette is always a comfort watch for me, no matter who the guest is. I'll be forever glad that I helped put IU on your radar, we've barely scratched the surface of her work, too! Thank you, Michael, for always taking the time to do these custom requests for us. I know it's a time-consuming job, but we appreciate you! 💜

chimelle6

The way I totally made fun of the name ‘The Rizzness’ prior to it releasing then it ended up having a chokehold on me, as expected with Taemin 🤣

Iva Morris-Covey

YEP! I think everyone had the same reaction. Leave it to Taemin lolololol

SeaLights

Letter is so pretty. Jimin’s voice is angelic and Jungkook in the back is magical.

Michel

I haven't listened to Taemin that much yet but Guilty has me on a chokehold, not gonna lie lol. I definitely wouldn't mind diving into the album together with you. Also, Seventeen! Yes! Similar as with Taemin, I haven't heard everything from them but I have quite a lot of songs from them in my playlist and they're awesome. I'd be honestly happy for any kpop reaction (album or a custom request) since I've really gotten into it lately and discovered so much great music and artists. I know the editing must be pain because of the lyric videos but it would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Jocelyn M

Would love for you to react to a full IU Palette episode with any of the 3 BTS boys that guested! Such a great glimpse into IU as a vocalist too! (Also anyone know if he reacted to hobi's documentary yet? I feel like I remember him saying he would but I don't see it)

Erica

i would absolutely be down for more seventeen reactions yes!!!!!!

Lauren Weeks

So so pleased someone requested Ren. Honestly not my usual taste in music at all but he's become my most listened to artist this year (I actually shed a tear when his album got to no. 1 here in the UK because no one deserves it more). His personal story is tragic, and whilst you can google him a lot of it can be pieced together from his music as he doesn't hold anything back. I can't wait to see you react to more, because you will quickly discover how multi-faceted this man is (every time he releases something new he catches me off guard in some way). There are songs like 'Chalk Outlines' which excellently showcase his vocal ability, songs like 'Murderer' which show off his rap skills, songs like 'Suicide' which will make you absolutely sob, and songs like 'Money Game' Parts 1, 2 & 3 which will give you a glimpse into his genius and provide you with some thought provoking social commentary. I urge anyone who hasn't listened to him before to listen now, because I don't think there are many artists like him in the world. (Also side note, you'll notice in some of his music videos, especially the larger scale ones like 'Hi Ren', he is wearing a clip on mic. This is because for these projects he choses to perform the song LIVE for the mv, my guess is because it adds even more authenticity to the performance, and often these same mvs are filmed in one take).

Thafir

Loved this. Had ent heard some of these before! You should listen to the rest of Holy Fvck:)

Barbi Duarte

When I saw taemins video I kept thinking of conversion therapy. And btw please do react to the album, it’s great, very recommended

duvvuri sri valli

Yes the reference to Desert and Sea in Letter is from the song Sea from Love Yourself Her (2017) , a hidden track where BTS talks about their journey using desert and sea as metaphors for the obstacles they have faced

Paige

Ooof I still haven’t emotionally recovered from watching Inside Out with you a couple weeks ago now we get Chandelier?? Brb calling my therapist

Portia Crain

I asked him last week during his live, he said not anytime soon because he is extreamly busy, but to keep an eye out few drop out occasionally but they fill up super fast

Stephmalou

Yaaas 100% agree! <3

Stephmalou

Finally someone requested Ren! Have been waiting for this! <3

Veronika

im so down for more seventeen content!

Emma Rustlie

that Fleetwood Mac performance is so critical to pop culture,,, I'll never get away from the look Stevie gives to Mick

Alix Drifty

I would LOVE a Taemin album listen! Except for 1 song, which isn't to my tastes, the mini album he just released his absolutely gorgeous. But seriously, you could pick any of his albums to listen to and I'd be thrilled. Oh, editing to add - also Seventeen! They're really good and talented. The first vocalist you pointed out in the first chorus is their main producer. The final vocalist you pointed out and really loved was DK. He's amazing (they're all amazing, but he's got those real power vocals).

Venita Morse

You really should watch the interviews with IU for Hobi, Suga and The full episode for Tae. I would also recommend watching Suchwita with each of the members. Suga interviews each of the member and RM interviews Suga. That would be fun to watch you react to those. Also, watching Jimin sing Letter after just watching their last live as a group with RM, Jimin, Tae and JK before they go into the military just makes it that much more emotional. Jimin singing with just an acoustic guitar is one of my favorite things. I will never get tired of it.

Amber

please do more svt! imo they have a very similar vibe to bts in the sense you can tell they very much love what they do, put everything into their craft (self produce, write, and even choreograph), and love one another so much. i don't think you'd be disappointed!

Debby

In Gdragons performance you can see he is very skinny. He was dealing with depression, anxiety, and an ED during this time. The song has a double meaning it’s about his past relationship but also more about himself. During this performance, I think he was focusing these lyrics more towards himself because he was going to the military soon. Side note: The stuff that recently happened, he was proven innocent. You should check out his recent interview on the situation. I was almost in tears. The man has been harassed by the media and others since he was a kid, and his anxiety has gotten worse. He really can’t catch a break :(

NineAnutza

love lawrence so much, i met them through the jonas btothers since clayde and of the guys from the band worked with them on the album and jon bellion and then i got to see them live on the tour in nashville and i feel in love with them even more <3 i'd love and hope that interview with them happens and i'll be here watching and supporting, fingers crossed!!!

Amanda M.

I'm still hoping someone requests more Ren! I've never been more sad to have "lost" my custom video spot than I was when I found Ren a few weeks ago and realized how many of my fav reactors don't know him!

Rissa

1 year late but please more Ren!!

Iva

100 years late but dying for more seventeen reactions! <3
