update regarding that tree (Patreon)

just in case anyone else runs into this situation and is anxious about getting a five-digit bill over it: i now have a new quote for $7700 to get rid of the tree. this is much closer to the median price i saw on google and completely reasonable considering it's a pretty big tree, and esp. since they'll let me do the job in two halves. it seems we were right in assuming that the astronomical price we got before was due to it being an "emergency" removal.

in other news, both me and daria hurt our necks this morning? somehow? and have been out of commission all day and probably tomorrow i suspect. so my riff at the end of the last post about "lol maybe i'll have a video out next week" is now deeply unlikely. good luck gamers, merry thanksgiving
