So today is the day!Shuggerlain v0.55 is already available for archers+ tiers.

Android release won't have early access, what it means it will be released when we release the game for lower tiers.

About the update. This is an update that doesn't have a new nation to explore. Our efforts were focused basically on the events that trigger once you advance to Zone 3 and the improvement of the camp.So a part from the new dates, new sex battles H-scenes and the new Succubus battle, this is quick update to see (even though it required the similar amount of work for us than any other update). You can check the completed changelog we posted on the previous development diary

As always there's an updated Walkthrought for this new update for Cavalry+ tiers.Anyway, hope you can enjoy this new update with new interesting events :)And please if you find anything weird, report. In our Discord we have a channel dedicated for bug reporting.

Hotfixes #1: Fixed a bug, the game got stuck when recruitting soldiers.

Hotfixes #2:

Recruitment mechanics have been changed in order to avoid the game getting stuck.

Fixed bug when visiting Nadine after Yalen's battle.

Fixed bug where NQ was not advancing to level 4 in some situations.

Fixed bug where the Defensive tactics icon remained in the camp.

Update has been exported with the same version of Ren'py as v0.50 in order to try to solve some performance issues some players were experiencing.

Fixed bug with Saraith's tent

Fixed minor bug on the jukebox

Corrected a few typos

I just downloaded the new update and for some reason, I cant go on the second date with Hazel and she is stuck at Lvl 3

You won't be able to advance to lvl 4 if you didnt complete date 1 first.

...I cant believe I missed that. Now all thats left is the scene after Vega in the gallery. Not sure how to get it

Downloaded from links in the post 2 hours ago. Frame freeze/skipping still present. Tried both mac and PC versions to make sure it wasn't isolated to a single device.

And did you have this low performance on hscenes in the v0.50? Are you using a laptop? Press "shift+G" and try both render options (don't choose automatic). Also disable power saving. Tell us if something of this worked for you

This may be an odd request, but have you considered adding a lore encyclopedia into the game options? Having a quick text reference to all the characters, locations, and historical events would be helpful.

No low performance on v0.50. I pressed Shift+G and adjusted render options, power saving, framerate to various options. Saw some improvement but not entirely smooth either. For slower animations they are in slo-mo whereas some skipping on faster animations.

Amazing work as usual! I am interested in seeing where you take this story, and hope the opposing faction get some more depth. This has likely been mentioned before, but are the zones supposed to be explored in a certain order to unlock everything? I noticed in zone 2 you are forced to go a specific route or else you miss certain content. I feel like its intended to be explored freely, but you can't go back to regions and sometimes can't visit a region if you proceed in the wrong order.

FYI - after the newest succ battle, there's a typo during the dialogue with the NQ, instead of "Night" it's "Nigt". Happy to help! ;)

I second this! There's a lot of characters and places that are interesting, and more being worked on of course. It has gotten hard to remember every detail haha, but would be cool if it was setup to unlock either as you progress dialogue, or after each main 3 relationship lvls

Unlocking all of the lore bits and character details would also function as a kind of collectable mechanic. I really like the fantasy world that's being built here.

Sorry for the odd question, but after the fixes like lag on hscenes or whenever there's an animation rolling, will it be posted here on patreon as a new hotfix? Or it will be all implemented in a 0.5X version with content?

The framerate drop doesn't seem to be related to renpy version only, since you guys changed to the same on v0.50 which is executing the animation smoothly. And more oddly, this game version just get my CPU to ~79% whenever there's an animation on screen, be an hscene or even menu.
