Content

Hi guys,

The update is going forward as we're also deciding some details of content with polls.

As some of you may know, we've made a poll in order to decide a sequence of the foreplay movie for Roselyn. According to the results, this movie will consist in:

Kiss+Breasts kissing +Fondle breast and masturbate her

Plus, we wanted to show you the actual progress of the update indicating what is already done and what's still to do:

-New planet

> 1/4 Backgrounds done
>4/9 Characters done

-Queen Roselyn's character rework DONE!

-Roselyn's final H-scene DONE!

-Roselyn Bedchamber background rework DONE!

-Roselyn's Foreplay movie (Not yet)

-1 date with Roselyn - rework (Background+Roselyn outfit+H-scene) (Not Yet)

-New minigame (almost done!)

So , in few words, we need still to do some bakgrounds and characters, the foreplay movie and a date with Roselyn (rework). So I'd say that we're half way of the update more or less :)

We'll try to add also an improvement that many of you asked for. Save slots with more information (not only the numbers). We haven't decided yet, but we'll see how we do it.

And that's all for today. We hope all this stuff will suit your taste guys :)

See you!

First i want to say that i like the game and appreciate the work u done so far. Sadly i have to say that the progress u made is rather slow. U need about 3 Month for a 0.03-0.04 Progress. In this speed the game will be finished in about 3 Years. I know that u made a lot new graphics, animations and other thing. But in view u are nearly at the double of ur maximum plege goal and dont add new goals what u are doing with this money it is not realy a good progress. I support u for quite a while with 10 $ but lower this now cause i payed as much as for an full AAA game but dont see if and when it would coming. I still like ur work and understand that there is a lot of work to do for such a small Team but i hope u can invest the money u had to speed this up a little that an end comes in sight.

Hey Eisscrat, lol sorry, this is long Thanks for letting us know your impressions. It's a good chance to explain what's going on. I don't ask you guys to understand this, but it's our duty to explain it well. Updates are taking the double of time than the first updates. The reason is simple. Better artwork, better animations... need more time. There aren't any tricks for that. Then why don't we hire new people? For a simple reason. We're a couple, and we work very well together. All of you that are working must know that it's not easy to get along with all your work mates. And in our opinion hiring someone is a risk. If , for some reason, we decided to fire this person, the project would be dead. That person would have rights about their part on the project and usually, they don't want that their part is used any longer in the game. That means insta dead for Space Paws. Like happened with Breeding Season. It's a risks that we don't want to take. That's the reason why we don't add new milestone goals. Because we don't want to break a promise we can't fulfill right now. We know our limitations for being only 2, but we accepted them. And let me say, this won't be a AAA game, but you aren't paying for it. Your are donating/supporting. It's an act of altruism, no a buying and selling activity. When you pay, you demand, but you can't do the same with donations. If you pay 10$, it is because you want to support mainly, and then, because you want to receive the rewards of that pledge. We're doing our fulltime job, if you are happy with all what we're doing, then it's a good idea to support us. We had never made a game before, and only people that are creating games know how long it takes. Sometimes we've been working for weeks without resting a single day (making the artist go to a physiotherapist for her poor arm, by the way, lol!). And I'm not complaining, just want to indicate how time consuming creating a game can be. Now many patrons want a dog planet reworked. That obviously will affect to the development of the rest of the game. The game will be finished by, more or less, the end of 2018 . In fact, we're already scripting our second game. That also requires time. You only see a part of all our work. We can't go faster. Those are our conditions. All of you are the ones that decide if we deserve, or not, your support. We're doing our best. Every patron decides if that is enough for them :)

I haven't been a supporter long, so i can't say I feel the same as the original poster, but to an extent can see where both of you are coming from. I get that hiring someone can change team dynamics, but to be honest I feel your reasoning, that if they are fired the game is dead, is a bad excuse. The reason I say that is because there are things called employment contracts which can easily state, "any and all work created for (insert company name) becomes sole property of (insert company name)" end of story. If you are not a company, a simple written contract between individuals is just as legally binding. If the individual isn't willing to work with that until you are pumping out games and can negotiate a different contract for themselves, then everything is fine and you two keep plugging along. But there are plenty of budding game developers/artists/writers willing to take that contract in the beginning to develop a name for themselves. That being said, I can understand not wanting a third person to create tension between a couple. But, again, this is easy to work around as well. I understand that consumers want a rework of dog planet, and the new art is amazing. However, I think updates can easily come in smaller waves instead large tsunamis. One example would be new planets get lower quality artwork, to see how people like it, artwork like how the current dog planet is. So each major update comes with a new planet that has lower quality art, and a rework of the previous planet. This can help updates come faster while still getting work done.

sorry if i sounded rude, was not trying to be at all. I enjoy your work and honestly just understand both sides of the situation.

Hi Gary, Even if we wanted to hire somebody, we're not a corporation. We're a "natural person", not "legal person" (not sure if these are the terms used) and the only contract we can make is as house cleaner. And hiring a developer as house cleaner, would be illegal. That's the law in Spain at least. So the only option would be the make us a corporation. But that would comlpicate many things and we don't want to :) By the way not rude at all. It's a chance to all of you to understand our position, even our legal situation, and of course, we understand the hurry. Just want to make sure everyone understands it :)

Well that makes a lot more sense now. Different countries do have different rules regarding contracts. Thanks for the explanation, I think that this will also help the others understand the situation you are in as well.

Hi! We reported this issue to patreon admins and they replied this (copy-paste): Hmm I too am able to access this without any issues. If anything, I would recommend directing your patrons who are having trouble directly to us so we can help them out. You can also send them this: "I would suggest using Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser, disabling any adblockers you may have active, deleting all your cookies, and recaching your system. I say Google Chrome because it is the most compatible browser with our site and we have seen that very few issues arise when it is being used. I would also suggest disabling any VPN you may have active. These steps can usually help clear up any strange things that our site is doing - usually." Hope this helps! Best, Evan

I may be thinking of this because of reading comments of others, but I think you guys work pretty darn fast for a team of two! Anyway, awesome job as always! Keep it up! :)

Munkyboy

Well, I'm happy with the progress, and the development of the game has been outstanding. I can't do what you guys are doing, but by supporting you, I can, at least, be a part of that. As for hiring people, I think what happened with Breeding Season really sucked, so, no, don't go there :@ What's really exciting tho, is the mention of your next game! Oh, and take it easy on the artist. She really is amazing!!! Both of you, actually, because there wouldn't be a Space Paws without you guys ;) Thanx for your hard work ^o^
