Last time I visited Bath I stayed with a friend in Malmesbury, a narrow escape by the sound of things. A splendid reading. This comment should make a lot more sense now I've posted it with the right audio

Ooooh, a creepy story that didn’t leave me shitting myself. Still so very creepy, I didn’t know Ronald Dahl wrote creepy stuff but unsurprisingly it’s well written. Thank you for the story Miss Wendy.

I didn’t k is he wrote creepy either...I was pleased to find this one. Such fun. Thank you for snuggling me as we discovered this one together.

I don't know if this is so scary that my brain puts me to sleep or that your voice is so relaxing that not even a scary story can't keep me awake. Tried twice and only woke up to the last 20 seconds the second time around. Thank you for a spoop Miss Wendy.

Listened to this while walking today, great story and love to hear your voice while I am out and around. thank you for the scary and spooky Miss Wendy.

With all the content you have been creating, I forgot to listen to this one until now! It was as creepy as I anticipated. I like that he doesn't give away the ending, but leaves it to our imagination.

I enjoyed that bit too. So fun to be able to find a creepy story by an author I grew up adoring. Thank you enjoying it with me.

I don't know why, but I never heard of him as a kid. Although, I watched Willy Wonka a million times, but that doesn't count. I guess no one bought me books as a kid. It was always science related stuff. LOL I guess it's time to catch up on all that I missed. :-)

P.S. I just bought "Collected Short Stories of Roald Dahl" on eBay for $7. Good reading for NNN. LOL

It took me a bit to remember that I read this in 8th grade and that's when I learned that cyanide tastes like bitter almonds. Even more lovely this go around though. It also hits a bit different because my town is named bath.
