Hello my darlings,

How have you been? I'm having the old ups and downs.

Been pondering, as one does, about life and death and anything but taxes.

Wanna sit with me and listen?

I would love your thoughts and to know what you are thinking about all the rabbit holes my brain is exploring.

Join me for a ramble and share a bit of you.

💋 Miss Wendy

Thanks for asking Miss. I’ve never went on a proper camping trip, so that’s the next thing on my list. Also I’ve never jumped out of an airplane. I hear parachutes come at a premium, so I probably start saving some money 😬 good luck with the amorous adventures and please leave some girls for us poor SOBs 😉

I love the rambles, you actually gave me a genuine smile with your silliness. (Sorry for the rambles) Funny enough, an area for boardgames/movies has alwyas been a dream of mine. Since I never had the space i've just collected the things we would use or play with over the years. The biggest thing that would set it apart from other "man caves" would be my collection of old posters only ever distributed to game stores, giving it so much more of that "card store vibe". Not to mention my collection of old unoffical card game magazines really just bringing people back, ahh the memories. Sadly a lot of frames for the posters got damaged in the move.(posters are still good! Just the frames are damaged) 😞 But a really nerdy gaming space has always been a goal to someday have for sure. If it could look like a gamestore that would be ever better. And i guess a crazy goal or thing i'd always wanted to do....visit a nude beach? I know they aren't all their cracked up to be but its the experience that matters, right? Thank you for the rambles and the updates, and as palpa palpa palatine would say "gooooood use your aggressive feelings"

Wow, I could write a novel with my thoughts right now. Where to start… When I was 16, I had a pretty significant interest in fantasy and the supernatural. This is something that’s bled into adulthood for me. I wasn’t ever able to do much with it growing up (it was unholy, for children, etc). Now that I’m in my early 20’s and I’ve started watching stuff from Critical Role and Dimension 20, I’ve found an outlet of sorts within the D&D/TTRPG space to kind of…throw my creativity into, if you will. I’ve been watching Critical Role’s play through of Candela Obscura, which has led me to try putting something together using that system for the server to play. (If you’re interested in giving it a try, you know where to find me 😌). I’ve also been creating more space for me to just…write. Fantasy, sci-fi, horror…anything, really. It was something I really enjoyed growing up but I just…stopped…after graduating high school. Didn’t start doing again until after my first play through of Resident Evil: Village (just around Halloween 2021). Don’t remember why I stopped, but I’m glad I started doing it again. Lots of emotions bubbling up for me recently. Partially from my own grieving process, partially from the good things that have happened since that morning. I’ve started writing letters. Even wrote a couple short stories. Felt inspired and all those shenanigans. Might turn one of those shorts into a script, but we’ll see ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh, Wendy, I just wanna ask, “may I sit here beside you?” I closed my eyes, imagined my local Starbucks cafe, turned down that music, and quieted my mind for a moment. That third space you mentioned, I conceptually understand now that I’ve been on Discord for a few months! I love being in my servers, interacting with people *for fun.* Watching films, playing games, or just hanging out talking — I’d never really done that previously. Although we’re in many ways different people — I live off a microwave, for one! LOL — I felt similar in that I deal with pain mostly by myself. I’ve felt that loneliness and unease in receiving comfort. I was that nerdy girl who only hair-cut once a year and wore clothes that were comfy, not fashionable. I didn’t even understand what a lip pen was (and I still don’t know how to use one! XD) Thank you for sharing your thoughts, letting us all be here in our own third spaces beside you. Personally, these rambles help me think about things in my life that I’ve just compartmentalised. Things I have to do — a mental checklist (heaven forbid I write a list HAHA). I really hope that you continue to draw out of that too-familiar introverted nesting space and make your home more than just practical. P.s., a Saint Andrews Cross is a new chiropractic tool, you know, I’m testing it out for a friend.

A love sack you say ;) and sound proofing Oh my. I love the idea of being silly. Happy to 3d print you fun gadgets. Currently working on making my house more inviting. Actually had a buddy over to help with that. He had to sit me down because I was trying to do everything simultaneously.... I'm having fun with make my home more mine.

The Absurd Man

I love DnD, and I always encourage everyone to try playing it. It has done wonders to me. I have aspergers, and being able to act out emotions of other characters feels amazing. The characters aren't real, but the emotions for sure are. These experiences has led me to understand myself better :)

that surprise ending in your Lens talking about your basement. HILARIOUS. xD and I guess I'm one of those insane ones who listened all the way to the end.

I wanted to be a dentist when I grew up, but came to the conclusion that because of my learning style that there was no way that I could've made it through higher education. I didn't have the grades to not have to take remedial courses and I definitely didn't have the patience or funds for it. I feel like a lot of my choices come from a lack of discipline and fear of failure and so I take the path of least resistance and just coast through life. Never daring to dream big or expect anything more than disappointment. One of my friends made a somewhat troubling but astute observation that my fear of trying new things comes from the fact that everytime I tell a story to them it is tied to some traumatic event. Which is kind of funny in a macabre sort of way. But I tend not to dream in the pursuit of protecting myself from further disappointment. But perhaps it could've turned out differently. That's my little ramble for what it's worth.

*hug* Maybe dream the little dreams cutie. Start with a non-threatening little one...then another...and onward. You can teach yourself that dreaming isn't death.
