Hi Guys!

So, as promised in the poll here is the video on using LEDs for an actual reason, giving you the option to change the colour of your fire effects as and when you need to :)

Includes BMC inspired (and credited) fire markers with new textures (and colour change ability)

A pretty epic wall of fire that gives off some awesome effects, and can be whatever shape you need it to be,

and some fire accessories for the magnetic building system, so you can set them on fire at will!

Quick note here - the camera is not great at capturing what these things look like in real life, I've tried to edit where I can to make it look more like...well like it actually looks, but that's harder to do on moving footage than the thumbnail 😅 so bear that in mind!

The thumbnail is pretty close, the green is slightly less yellow tinted, but the brightness is about right :)

Oh, and I'm in the middle of uploading everything for Monday, so the pinned comment and equipment list aren't updated yet - they're on my list of things to do before I get to go to bed 😅

Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Set Things on FIRE! || Fire Markers, Wall of Fire, Burning Building!

At some point, most D&D campaigns or wargamers will have use for fire markers, a wall of fire or some way to show burning buildings - So I set out to make my own unique version of these crafting staples, with my usual modular twist. Some of the inspiration for these is absolutely drawn from Black Magic Craft's fire and smoke markers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfNjGKyxpB4), but I hope my…modifications give them some solid added value whether you play D&D, 40k or something else! Come to think of it, the blue options would be great for plasma fires or tau battles… These are all designed to be used effectively with dungeon tiles, and fit nicely on a 3" tile system, or even a 2" one if you're ok without a gap. The Wall of fire can also be made as a circular version using the same techniques, if you want one for that shape specifically and prefer it over angling the straight sections - Which may be something I do later… Let me know what you guys think! ⚔️ SUPPORT BY JOINING THE ARCHIVE ON PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/RPArchive 🛠️ SUPPORT BY BUYING EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS: http://bit.ly/RPEquipment Everything I use should be linked on the equipment list above, so it's also a library of where to find stuff… 🔔 Subscribe and click the bell for more D&D terrain! 👍 If you found this helpful, help me out and like the video up there! A friend just ordered the shot glasses from the link in the list and they aren’t suitable for this project. Those ones are hard rigid plastic and just shatter when you try to cut them. 😰

RPArchive

Oh damn I had no idea :/ which link was it? UK, USA, Germany? I'll get it removed as soon as I can. It might be worth looking for these in supermarkets instead? That way you can feel them through the packaging and test.

RPArchive

Right - if you're in the uk the exact ones I used were tescos :)
