For copyright reasons, full-length reactions don't include the show or movie footage so you'll need to have your own copy to watch along with me. Ideally, you'll need two screens or two browser windows. One for the reaction, and the other for the show you're watching. Using your mobile is also viable to watch one of them.

As many different streaming services in different countries often play trailers or recaps before the show starts, the easiest way I've found to sync up footage is to find the first frame of the episode, generally right after the opening credits finish on your own copy (unless of course, the show has a cold open), then pause it. Don't worry, I show you the frame to look for at the beginning of each full-length reaction! Next, play the reaction and you'll see a countdown timer at the end of the intro and when the show is about to start. Press "play" on your copy when the timer reaches 0:00.

A small (but muted) portion of the show will stay on the screen to allow you to properly sync up your copy if you need to adjust it. The easiest way to eliminate any small discrepancies between the two is to rapidly pause and unpause the video that's ahead until both are running simultaneously.

This really was a brilliant piece of writing considering what it had to accomplish. Since the show was only a cult hit at the time, and this was a few years after, they had the task of making a film to please the fans while also attempting to attract new fans to the franchise. The one shot introduction and Steadicam walk through the ship was a pretty amazing way to introduce all the characters and their motivations. Sadly the film really only drew the hardcore fans for the most part, so it only broke even at the box office leading the studio to opt out on a sequel. Also, great catch on the deaths. That was the intention throughout. To make even the biggest doubter of any harm coming to the crew doubt his own conviction. And it worked like a charm. Say what you will about Joss Whedon, but the guy knows how to write the hell out of characters. You'll get to see more of his brilliance in the upcoming Avengers movie. Great reaction as always and glad you enjoyed it.

I'm still (two days later) surprised at just how devastated I am to have finished it. I really wasn't prepared to get quite so invested haha (sob).
