Movie run-time: 1 hour, 43 mins
Watched on: Now TV (HBO equivalent I think?)

For copyright reasons, full-length reactions don't include the show or movie footage so you'll need to have your own copy to watch along with me. Ideally, you'll need two screens or two browser windows. One for the reaction, and the other for the show you're watching. Using your mobile is also viable to watch one of them.

As many different streaming services in different countries often play trailers or recaps before the show starts, the easiest way I've found to sync up footage is to find the first frame of the episode, generally right after the opening credits finish on your own copy (unless of course, the show has a cold open), then pause it. Don't worry, I show you the frame to look for at the beginning of each full-length reaction! Next, play the reaction and you'll see a countdown timer at the end of the intro and when the show is about to start. Press "play" on your copy when the timer reaches 0:00.

A small (but muted) portion of the show will stay on the screen to allow you to properly sync up your copy if you need to adjust it. The easiest way to eliminate any small discrepancies between the two is to rapidly pause and unpause the video that's ahead until both are running simultaneously.

Great reaction, yeah I also don't really consider this a horror film at all but it is interesting. Domhnall Gleeson (Caleb) is great in it though. If you have not seen him in the Hulu show The Patient that is worth watching as well. At least we got a "Bullocks" for you not having your pillow.

Not to sound like a broken record, but again, great reaction and takeaway. I'm glad this one made the cut. You're getting a really good mix of the subgenres of horror this month. First cosmic, now more cerebral, and I'll leave the other two for you to discover on your own obviously. Glad you enjoyed this one though. Alex Garland did a great job of posing some much larger questions while still keeping you engaged with the characters and drawing out sympathy for Ava. He's one hell of a great up and coming, well more full on established now, director. I always felt Alicia Vikander slayed it in the role as well, from her mannerisms to her speech patterns. Also a great chance to see Gleeson and Isaac act opposite of each other prior to them being in the Star Wars sequels together. Not bad for a little $15 million dollar indie film though, right? It's grown quite the cult following since its release, glad you enjoyed it.
