Movie run-time: 2 hours, 22 mins
Watched on: NOW TV (HBO in the US)

For copyright reasons, full-length reactions don't include the show or movie footage so you'll need to have your own copy to watch along with me. Ideally, you'll need two screens or two browser windows. One for the reaction, and the other for the show you're watching. Using your mobile is also viable to watch one of them.

As many different streaming services in different countries often play trailers or recaps before the show starts, the easiest way I've found to sync up footage is to find the first frame of the episode, generally right after the opening credits finish on your own copy (unless of course, the show has a cold open), then pause it. Don't worry, I show you the frame to look for at the beginning of each full-length reaction! Next, play the reaction and you'll see a countdown timer at the end of the intro and when the show is about to start. Press "play" on your copy when the timer reaches 0:00.

A small (but muted) portion of the show will stay on the screen to allow you to properly sync up your copy if you need to adjust it. The easiest way to eliminate any small discrepancies between the two is to rapidly pause and unpause the video that's ahead until both are running simultaneously.

Not really sure why but I can’t sync my copy to yours, your copy is faster than mine

It's a difference of the framerate. I live in the U.S., so I have the same issue as our standard is 60Hz or 30 FPS. You would either need a VPN to watch it through a European provider, or to convert the file of the one you're watching. If a DVD, it would have to be ripped and then converted. What you're aiming for is 50Hz or 25 FPS if you want a match and she's watching something that's in the European format. A good file converter for that is Shutter Encoder.

Great reaction as always and glad you enjoyed the film. If you really get nitpicky with this there are holes you can poke in it, but overall it's a brilliant concept. And between the stellar cast and the superb execution from Nolan, not to mention the beautiful Zimmer score it's just an absolutely glorious film. Much like the relationship between Spielberg and John Williams, Nolan and Zimmer are very close friends and have collaborated many times. And yes, Nolan tends to use many of the same actors with slight variations. He's very loyal to the people he works with including his crew. So Michael Cain, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, and Christian Bale (of course with the Batman trilogy and also The Prestige) and many others all show up in many of his movies. As with last week and my list of Villeneuve films, I of course have a list of further Nolan films for you now....lol.... I'm sure many of these have likely already been suggested to you, and of course I don't mean for you to rush through them all at once, but definitely would love to see you get to them over time. Since you love Murphy so much, my immediate suggestion would of course be Oppenheimer as it's absolutely brilliant, but that can be used to describe many a Nolan film so I'll stop with all the descriptors. But The Prestige is an absolute must, as are Memento, Insomnia, The Dark Knight trilogy, and Dunkirk. Tenet is also a very good film in concept, but I have my misgivings about the execution. Definitely worth checking out though. P.S. - If you truly want a mind-f*ck of a film, I have a few suggestions there as well such as 'Primer' and a few others, but those are indie films and likely wouldn't get a strong reaction on YouTube as they're far lesser known.
