“Odd” is a fair way to describe this experience. I like this film and there are large segment that I can quite verbatim. Quentin Tarantino is definitely an acquired taste though. He very much has his own style and I applaud his choices to take risks in his storytelling. Usually, his choices work out. Sometimes they just leave me befuddled and annoyed. They’re still interesting and discussion worthy. If you’ve never seen “From Dusk til Dawn”, it might be worth investigating. The film was written by Tarantino and stars both him and George Clooney. It was directed by Robert Rodriguez and features Tom Savini in a prominent supporting role. If these names are unfamiliar to you, just know that Rodriguez and Savini together will produce the most ludicrous, almost cartoonish levels of bloody hyper-violence you’re likely to see. It’s a fun ride.
