For copyright reasons, full-length reactions don't include the show or movie footage so you'll need to have your own copy to watch along with me. Ideally, you'll need two screens or two browser windows. One for the reaction, and the other for the show you're watching. Using your mobile is also viable to watch one of them.

As many different streaming services in different countries often play trailers or recaps before the show starts, the easiest way I've found to sync up footage is to find the first frame of the episode, generally right after the opening credits finish on your own copy (unless of course, the show has a cold open), then pause it. Don't worry, I show you the frame to look for at the beginning of each full-length reaction! Next, play the reaction and you'll see a countdown timer at the end of the intro and when the show is about to start. Press "play" on your copy when the timer reaches 0:00.

A small (but muted) portion of the show will stay on the screen to allow you to properly sync up your copy if you need to adjust it. The easiest way to eliminate any small discrepancies between the two is to rapidly pause and unpause the video that's ahead until both are running simultaneously.

~17:40 pause comments -- Here's my interpretation of Jayce and Silco's conversation: "I remembered what brought us together in the first place, threats beyond our walls" I think here Jayce is referring to Piltover as a society which as we learned in ep 2 was founded to escape "the warmongering of mages". When Silco says "I give you credit for your stunt" I believe he's referring to the attack on his manufacturing plant. I also find a lot of people see both Silco and Victor as villains before they even see any of their actions. This is because they both have two features that in society we have been trained by media to associate with evil, they're thin and gaunt, and they're sick and deformed. What I love about this show is that neither of these characters are cartoon villains, whatever they do they believe it is for a righteous cause. And many of the more attractive characters are in fact quite duplicitous. The only uncomplicated and conventionally attractive "good" character I can think of is Sky Young who gets unceremoniously fridged in episode 7 and has so few lines she can hardly be called a character.

Post episode thoughts -- There's a lot of very exciting things in the last sequence that hint at plotlines for season 2 but only really for those of us who are versed in the Runeterra lore. I'd expound more but I'd not want to spoil your reaction potentially. As for it being a favorite show, this series deserved all the rewards. Silco - WAS he the bad guy? I mean he was A bad guy. He is motivated by being trapped in what is essentially an economic apartheid since he was a child, watching people die all around him from being forced to work in toxic mines, and then having his partner in trying to gain independence for his people turn on him and try to murder him. His life philosophy is absolutely understandable. But then look at the other side of the Pilt river and you find Heimerdinger who is by all accounts adorable and well meaning but has done nothing to stop this apartheid for over 200 years despite being the head of the council and being one of the most gifted scientific minds in the world. A lot of people watching this series are far too quick to assign "good" to the people who comfortably cooperate with the unjust system and "evil" to those who violently oppose it. I like that this series isn't that simple

I hadn't actually thought about the way they looked but that's exactly right. Viktor just *looks* like he should be a bad guy.

You know, I think I'm gonna appreciate the Piltover storyline a lot more in a rewatch. I have to admit, I found myself wanting to get back to Vi and Jinx whenever the episode cut to topside goings-on, which is a shame. In fact, I think that's probably my only criticism of the show - the "main" story is so compelling, it kinda drowns out the other stuff. On a first watch, anyway.
