None of this surprises me about Muko, She's got the worst possible chance given the new info, But if she can get past it even if she works by herself then there is a chance.

There is always hope....the big picture is there. I mean it woudl be a really shitty comic if the hero never one despite everytying. Besides, despite this new info...it just means she'll have to fight that much harder to achive her goal. How will she do it...I don't know...All I know is that she'll be in the fight of her life...

Damn. The chapter has an uplifting start. Muko throws Kalita the classic "I'll beat you in a week and you join us" challenge and they go train, but they get rejected by every gym. Surprisingly enough, none of the gyms have a grudge against Cookie, but it's Muko with whom they have an issue as Shun has sent Miho to start a smear campaign against her. I must say that Shun is very thorough as not only does he want to destroy Cookie's career by destroying her image, but he wants to make sure that Muko does not want to think about being a Combagal again, regardless of whether he knew about her return or not. I liked the fact that realism plays in expectations such as Kalita not wanting to be a Combagal to play a part in Cookie's grudge, wanting her money immediately, knowing that she'll be outnumbered and outmatched if her partner was Muko, and that Muko was not going to easily mend the gap between them with one week training. I also liked how most of the trainers were initially willing to train with Cookie, showing that there's some people besides Muko that were willing to forgive her after two years of mistakes. I am curious on what's gonna happen in the next chapter since it will show Muko's past, but it will be an important part of her development to see how she deals with that slander.
