Dear Pink & Fluffi Patrons...

For this Illustration the main element which I still find myself pondering over is the switch from the pastel/ pale shade colour-palette, to the richer more vibrant colours...

Lately I really find myself quite enamoured by the pale pastel shades, so it takes little bit of an internal compromise to really 'up' the vibrancy. ;-p :)

*I should say that the Text on the books, as well as the finishing touches for the 'SLUT HEEL' were finished off in another program, which is why they are not included in the video.*

Color experiments were really cool to see. I thoroughly enjoy these videos because it helps me understand where your design decisions lead you. It's never a straight shot with you, iteration galore!

I almost always have some sort of idea in my mind when I start, but along the way there's all those little questions of self-doubt which tend to completely change how these designs look. ^_^' And right at the beginning of this image I accidently used (what turned out to be) this beauitful (pink) paint spatter brush and I really wanted to use it in the image, but I just couldn't find a way to effectively incorporate it. :(
