We hope you enjoy Rowan's first chapter! If you're struggling to find Rowan's path, remember that hints can always be activated in Preferences. And if you wish to skip through scenes you've already seen, clicking the "skip" button below the dialogue box or hitting the "ctrl" key will speed through dialogue.

NOTE TO BETA TESTERS: The very end of the chapter has changed from the Beta Build. Check it out, or risk being confused in chapter 2!

In this build Rowan's content has been appended to the Demo version of the game. We're working on a way to transfer it over to the full game for those of you who own it, and will give instructions how that can be done as soon as the setup on our end is complete.

Think I gotta wait until the full version release so I don't lose my progress. I lost the files ages ago anyway and would have to replay everything

I just noticed something fun. I thought my files got corrupted when updating the game, but it instead reset my game back to the ch2 preview build. I wasn't sure if that was intentional or not. Android version if that matters. If needed I can try and find my purchased copy from Itch.io somewhere. Edit: Okay I read the rest of the message. Whoops my bad lol

We're hoping it will be very easy to transfer the DLC, we'll let everyone know as soon as the base game is updated to receive it!

We're still working on how to distribute DLC for Android, which is in part why we needed to append it to a build (the Demo, in this case) to make it available on mobile. We hope to have a more permanent solution in the future!

It’s been so long since I played I don’t remember a Rowan…though the last time I played I only ever got he nice ending of the main character accepting a quiet life with just himself over and over lol

Although the character has been built with the feedback of Patrons over the past few years, this build marks Rowan's debut to the game! To find Rowan's path (or anyone else's), feel free to turn on the hints in preferences-- they'll help guide your choices so you end upon the path you prefer. Enjoy diving back into Changeling Tale when you do!
