I've been working on a ton of projects outside YouTube so it was impossible to find any time during the week to work on this. Usually what'll happen is I'll start working on a video on the Monday a week and a day before release, but this one I actually started working on Saturday night around 10pm! It was a huge challenge and in some ways really pushed me to make something interesting fast. The idea here was to really push my limits with slap guitar. I had a rhythm in mind but none of the techniques really worked for me. I ended up just liking the sound of me tapping on the strings with the guitar in the Piezo mode a lot so incorporated that into the pattern. I'm having a lot of fun with the lights and I actually used this video as a guinea pig (heh) for seeing how much I could color correct without the use of LUTs. My last video was not my best work with coloring, mostly because of the weird weather/lighting those two days. Thought I'd just go bare on this and liked how it turned out! I'd really like to start winding back some of the challenge on these videos so let me know if these studio videos are cool! Doing location based stuff is getting pretty crazy...
