I got to be the guitarist on the OST for the newest official Legend of Zelda title, Cadence of Hyrule. It was nothing short of an achievement that exceeded my wildest expectations. I've been so excited and emotional about it that I wanted to do my favorite Zelda overworld theme for YouTube this week. I did this back in the day for my Link's Awakening medley, and lately I've been really enjoying getting to go back and revisit songs that I feel needed their own full arrangement. Especially a song as important to me as this one. After all of the Zelda games I played, it's tough to call but I'm still pretty sure Link's Awakening was my favorite, very close to Ocarina of Time. I'm insanely excited to get to play the new Link's Awakening remake coming later this year as well! Watching all of the nintendo directs and everything has really got me fired up because it looks like they really nailed the atmosphere of it! Finally, these are almost all new sounds! A new drum sound along with a new lead tone! Plus not to mention a full overhaul of my mixing process so I'm a bit scared but interested to see what you guys think!
