On one side, I know many people want to hear my interpretations of some of the staple video game songs, but it's so intimidating and I hate that feeling of having done a song so long ago, that I'm afraid of being down the line wishing I had done it differently. That being said, with Final Fantasy VII Remake just in a few days, it's hard to argue a better time to tackle one of the greatest battle themes of all time with all the hype I have to play the new remake! I really tried to make this one different and give it a true battle feel with really big horns and snare ensembles, in a way I thought would serve the intensity the song. Recently I took a dive into Spitfire for new orchestra VSTs and I'm amazed at how good they sound on their own that I was challenged to make them fit with my fairly processed sound. I hope you guys enjoy what I did with it and I hope it sets it apart from the millions of other guitar covers of this song. Thanks so much for watching! Really appreciate all of you guys coming to see these covers every week!
