From what I heard, the brotherhood of steel had a small number of people to build defenses, so they mobilized robots in the base to continue the battle. So I'm trying to port the Sentrybot. Which do you think would be better to port between the old model and the Fallout 4 model?

The New Vegas one would be more accurate "lore-wise" but the ones from 4 just look better overall

4's just looks so sleek and better, and might also look a bit better in SFM2 Compared to how your Brotherhood look.

I'm not sure about the lore but the fallout 4 ones look newer and higher tech, the old model might fit the bill if the brotherhood happened upon a prototype version that they figured out how to turn on. I think it depends on how you want to design the whole base. This base was continuing to researching tech right up to the bombs dropping or it stopped a few dozen years before.

Well, the older model looks beaten, unmantained, as it should be. It is more lore accurate, the new model look like it was manufactured by institute a week before brotherhood found it.

The one from fallout 4 with more weathering and damages to show the result of many years without proper maintenance.

Old model. Fallout 4 model looks better but I think that's the problem. If you go for the Fallout 4 model, I'd suggest adding some withering/damage to it. Looks way too new/polished in my opinion.
