Chapter 11

(Yagura Karatachi POV)

The Yondaime Mizukage, Yagura Karatachi once again found himself working mindlessly in his office late at night while trying feebly to break free from the control he had come under a few years back.

It was like being a prisoner in your own body. Aware of everything yet unable to do anything to regain control of his body.

‘Curse that damned Uchiha!’ Yagura raged privately in his mind cursing the Uchiha that had forced him to turn against his own people.

The fact that the man had been able to control him should have been impossible since he had full control of the Three-Tails which meant that the man must have possessed an incredibly powerful Sharingan. Thinking back on history, only one man was known to have possessed such a powerful Sharingan, enough to even fully control the Nine-Tails.

Madara Uchiha.

Just thinking at the possibility that such a man could still be alive terrified Yagura and he feared what the man had planned for his village. Not that Yagura felt he had a right to feel that way after all the atrocities he had already committed to the people he had promised to lead even if he was not in control of himself.

At this point, all Yagura wanted was for someone to finally kill him to take him out of his misery. He had never been happier when the rebellion had risen up against him giving him hope that someone might be able to stop him.

‘That Terumi woman is strong, stronger than Zabuza by far... Could she be the one to kill me?’

Lost in his inner dialogue Yagura suddenly became alert when he felt a hand slap against his back before his surroundings disappeared. When he regained his vision instead of the office he was in before, Yagura now found himself in a clear area before hearing four identical voices yell out in unison.

“Shisekiyōjin!”

Immediately after that a red barrier appeared with him in the middle.

‘Barrier huh? Is it the Rebellion?’ Yagura thought curiously while watching everything currently happening unable to do anything as his body immediately assumed version 1 of the tailed beast state.

Yagura finally got his answer as a figure jumped in front of him revealing it to be a young man with blue hair and golden eyes. What caught his attention the most though was the vajra symbol proudly stitched on his sleeves and the leaf symbol on his gloves.

‘A Senju. So, this is the Senju boy I’ve been hearing about recently. Does he plan to take me on by himself?’ Yagura thought in realization now paying close attention at what the young man planned.

“Hello Yagura. Are you still able to hear me in there or has Madara’s control eroded all of your senses?” The young man asked with a smirk on his face not seeming worried at all and curiously mocking Madara’s name.

“What are you talking about?” His body responded with a scowl on his face.

‘What!? How could he possibly know that?’ Yagura thought in shock cursing himself for not being able to speak to get the answers he wanted.

“Hmhmhm I see. Well not like it matters anyway. I came here to test myself against a Perfect Jinchuuriki after all.” The man said with a shrug casually dodging a water bullet that had been aimed at him.

“Don’t ignore me!” His body yelled out in rage sending out more water bullets at the teen with all of them being dodged.

‘Young and arrogant I see.’ Yagura thought in disappointment believing the young man was just boasting as while he couldn’t control his body, he could still see and sense everything his body was doing.

The young man in front of him had about as much chakra as the Terumi woman from what he could remember after meeting her and while chakra capacity wasn’t everything, one still needed huge reserves to take on a Jinchuuriki.

Or that’s what he believed as he suddenly sensed a truly monstrous amount of chakra coming from the boy making him mentally flinch back in shock with the last thing, he saw was the teen making a horse seal before he was swarmed by trees.

 “Mokuton: Jukai Kōtan!”

=====

(Regular POV)

I watched silently as Yagura was surrounded on all sides by trees trying and failing to keep them away from him with that weird club/staff of his.

“Cursed Konoha shinobi!” The mentally controlled Yagura yelled in rage as he looked at me with hatred in his eyes.

A moment later he was overwhelmed and the trees wrapped themselves around him immediately taking him out of his version one form due to the trees special property of being able to absorb chakra. Unfortunately, the trees were only able to hold him for a moment before Yagura transformed into his version 2 state and easily broke the trees surrounding him.

It didn’t come without a cost however as his version 2 was stripped from him leaving him in version one again.

‘While I could just keep overwhelming him like this until he runs out of chakra, I came here to test myself.’ I thought to myself.

“Is that all you have?” I asked mockingly with a raised eyebrow knowing that he had just lost a substantial amount of chakra from that.

“Quiet! Just die already!”

Sensing a massive buildup of chakra, I grinned going over my own hand seals knowing what was coming next and just as Yagura fully transformed into Isobu I muttered my own jutsu.

“Mokuton: Mokujin no Jutsu.”

A huge wooden golem rose underneath me with a dragon wrapped around its torso just in time to stop the rampaging huge turtle from crushing me.

“Hahaha that’s the spirit.” I yelled with a grin feeling excited at being in such a battle and had my golem punch the turtle sending it back.

‘I think it’s about time.’ I thought to myself before mentally allowing Yagura access to my Mind Defense with the use of Toggle, immediately breaking him free from his mind control.

“H-huh? I’m back in control!? How?” Came the shocked voice of Yagura coming from Isobu.

Ignoring that I clapped my hands together and muttered another jutsu. “Mokuton: Hotei no Jutsu.”

Several giant pair of wooden hands suddenly burst out of the ground and grabbed ahold of each of the turtle’s extremities immobilizing him in place.

“W-WAIT! PLEASE!” Yagura yelled out desperately as he struggled to break the hold the wooden hands had on him.

“No can do. No matter what you say now, you will die tonight ‘Or disappear forever really’.” I yelled out in return before releasing a torrent of flames at the turtle with a new jutsu.

“Katon: Goka Mekkyaku.” Not holding anything back, I kept up my jutsu ignoring the pained screams that were released not long after.

“AAARHG! Damn it! Fine!” With those words a thick mist was released from Isobu dissipating the flames and managing to completely hide him from my view.

‘Genjutsu huh? Smart. Too bad I’m completely immune to Genjutsu.’ I thought with a grin on my face activating my Sharingan seeing Yagura preparing to unleash a Bijudama. ‘Crap.’

Bracing myself I mentally ordered my golem to raise its hand and stop the attack somewhat curious if my golem would be able to stop it just as Hashirama’s was able to stop one from Kurama.

A moment later I got my answer and yes, my golem had definitely blocked it before shoving the ball of destruction back into Isobu’s side creating an explosion.

When the smoke dissipated, I was treated to the sight of Isobu laying on its side as the mist slowly disappeared from our surroundings.

“UCHIHA!? YOU’RE AN UCHIHA!?” Yagura roared as he finally got a look at me and more importantly at my Sharingan eyes glaring back at him.

“That’s right.” I blankly said in return commanding my golem to move forward.

“YOU AND THAT ACCURSED CLAN! IT’S YOUR FAULT ALL OF THIS HAPPENED!” Yagura yelled back not looking all that different from when he was possessed a while ago before curling into a ball and charging at me in return.

‘Hahahaha I’m really having an honest to god kaiju battle right now. So cool~’ Were my final thoughts before we collided in the middle.

=====

I won.

The battle had only lasted about ten minutes before I overwhelmed him and Yagura ran out of chakra dropping out of his Bijū mode.

My Mokuton was just too strong to fight against by any Jinchuuriki. I could now see how Hashirama had gone around and collected all the Bijū almost like pets before handing them out to the other nations in an attempt to foolishly bring peace.

“I’m sorry.” Came the voice of Yagura in a quiet whisper as he looked up at me from where he was bound by my Mokuton up to his neck.

“For what?” I asked raising an eyebrow as I casually walked towards the man looking fresh as ever from our fight in contrary to Yagura who was just hanging on to consciousness.

“For blaming you for what I did. I can see now that you played no part in that man’s plans. You’re too young.” Yagura quietly rasped out.

“Ah ‘Madara’ huh? Don’t worry about him. I’m definitely killing him in the future.” I said with a shrug coming to a stop in front of the man.

“So, you did know… Haha good. I can at least die knowing he’ll be joining me soon.” Yagura said tiredly before closing his eyes and looking down. “Do it.”

“Not yet.” I whispered in return making Yagura look up at me again curiously before gasping in pain as I slammed my palm against his torso after willing the vines to move away.

“Ghhk!”

“There’s something I want that resides inside you.” I whispered coldly ripping his shirt off and after looking at his seal, quickly got to work. “This is a good seal.” I commented a little impressed.

“T-the Three-Tails…’cough’ you w-want the Sanbi.” Yagura let out in a hoarse voice.

“Correct. I’m undoing the foolish decision that my great-grandfather made when he decided to hand out the Bijū to the other villages.” I said not getting a response in return as the seal came undone and Yagura began screaming in agony.

When the Bijū was finally released from the seal I was quick to immediately sell Yagura before he could die and then set to sealing the Sanbi within myself with the help of a clone.

With the calming effect of my Mokuton and my Mangekyō, the process proceeded smoothly and I became the new Sanbi Jinchuuriki.

That task taken care of, I quickly looked at my notifications and breathed a sigh of relief when I noticed that Yagura’s sell had gone through without a problem.

‘One down, 8 to go.’ I thought looking down at my hand already feeling a slight increase to my chakra capacity, density and regeneration. ‘Now to help the others.’

=====

(3 Days Later)

“Were you finally able to get away?” I asked not looking up from the book I was currently reading while leaning against a tree I had created myself.

“Haah barely. While I am pleased beyond words that our conflict has finally come to an end, I honestly didn’t expect to be nominated as the Fifth Mizukage.” Mei said sounding exhausted as she quietly made her way towards me and took a seat beside me letting out a sigh of relief as she leaned back against the tree.

“You are the strongest here, have experience leading a large group of shinobi and most importantly, you earned their respect. There was no better choice in everyone’s eyes.” I said quietly while turning a page from my book.

“But what about what I want?” Mei softly whispered to herself with her voice taking on a sad tone.

I remained quiet knowing she didn’t mean for me to hear that as if it wasn’t for my enhanced senses, I wouldn’t have been able to hear anything.

It had been a few days since the rebellion came out victorious with the defeat of Yagura and the surrender of the majority of his forces.

During that time, I had barely been able to see Mei let alone talk to her due to how busy she had become after she had been appointed as the new Mizukage by an overwhelming majority vote. Since then, Mei had been handling everything that came after a successful coup of the previous ruling power.

Mei had assigned me the best room they had at the moment which wasn’t saying much as part of the village had suffered a lot of damage in the attack but I had been grateful nonetheless.

Since I had nothing better to do, I had with the help of my cute Great Sage (soon to be Ciel) recreated a lot of literature from my first life that I had managed to read. Anything from Manga, Light Novels, Comic Books and just regular books of all genre had been pulled from my mind and made into physical books.

It would not only be a good way to make some cash as I didn’t receive any money from the Company due to an Intensity setting but they also served as a way to pass the time. The girls back home would also love them, I’m sure.

“So, when are you really going to tell me what happened to Yagura?” Mei suddenly asked me as she leaned her head on my shoulder.

Finally looking up from reading The Hobbit, I raised an eyebrow and looked at Mei curiously. She had taken the habit of being really clingy with me lately whenever she finally got free time to see me. Though the Stamp tattoo clearly visible just above her left breast probably had something to do with it.

Mei had been one of my easiest captures after all. Having already been fully Stamped before all the fighting began.

In fact, Mei now looked much younger than before, having been regressed into the age of 25 due to Body Tune-Up. The Christmas Cake probably just thought she always looked that way though and ignored it.

“HIhihi, your excuse of leaving nothing of him behind won’t work on me. I just didn’t say anything this whole time because I chose to trust you.” Mei said with a smile on her face not lifting her head from my shoulder.

‘It’s technically the truth though.’ I thought with a mental sweat drop before sighing and closing my eyes for a second. “Fine I used my power to send him away from this world.”

“Huh? You have that kind of power?” Mei asked curiously.

Opening my eyes, I heard Mei gasp as she came face to face with my Mangekyō Sharingan, with it rotating hypnotically.

“Yes, my eyes possess that power.” I said revealing part of the truth as Yagura really had left this world and my eyes did have the ability to send others to other worlds with my Kamui.

I never planned to reveal where Yagura was sent to though. I was keeping that to myself for now.

“So, it’s true.” Mei finally whispered never looking away from my glowing red and black eyes. “I heard rumors that the last male Senju was also from the Uchiha Clan but I just thought it was ridiculous due to all their bad history.”

‘So, the news did get out.’ I thought silently deactivating my Sharingan a moment later. “Please try to keep it on the downlow, I already have enough sociopaths, arrogant buffoons and annoying old men after me.” I said letting out a sigh.

“Mmn don’t worry I won’t let anyone know.” Mei reassured me with a smile. “Well as long as Yagura never returns, I guess I have nothing more to say about that matter.”

“Yep. He’s gone for good.” I said with a confident nod.

“Good. B-by the way…I wanted to ask. When are you leaving?” Mei suddenly asked me nervously.

“Haah unfortunately I’ll be leaving tomorrow. I’ve already extended my stay as far as I could and the old man is expecting me back soon.” I revealed with a sigh.

“B-b-but our d-dat-”

“Sshhh.” I didn’t let her finish and silenced her by putting my index finger over her plump lips getting a cute blush to form on her cheeks. “Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about our date.”

Seeing that I had her complete attention now I removed my finger from her lips and gave her a smile. “How about we postpone it for another day. Let’s say during the Chunin Exams being held in Konoha in 6 months? Since our villages are now allied, you’ll be there, right?”

“S-six months. I guess I have no problem waiting a little longer.” Mei said shyly not being able to fully look me in the eyes properly before closing her eyes and letting out a deep sigh.

“Haah to be honest with all the rebuilding we have to do and with how busy I’ll be for the foreseeable future; I wouldn’t have had the time to go on a date. In six months though the village should be stable enough for me to leave for a couple of days at least.” Mei said now more seriously.

‘Yet another reason I don’t ever want to take up the mantle of Kage. You’re always swamped with work.’ I thought in distaste before dismissing it, putting my book away and pulling out a tri-pronged kunai.

“I want you to keep this. Since you already know what it is I want you to call me if you’re ever in danger or just want to talk if you want.” I said offering her the kunai.

“B-but won’t traveling such a distance require an enormous amount of chakra?” Mei said in an incredulous tone but taking the kunai nonetheless and hugging it to her chest.

“Hahaha have you forgotten who you’re talking to?” I asked with a raised eyebrow looking amused.

“…Right.” Mei said sounding much happier now. “In that case let me offer you something in return.”

“Hmm wh-mmph!”

My mouth was suddenly occupied by another pair of lips, much softer than my own, as Mei crawled on my lap and sat down never once breaking the kiss. Going along with it, I brought my arms around the pretty red head and brought her in closer as I returned the kiss feeling somewhat relieved that I didn’t have to hold back with Mei due to her being too young.

The kiss went on for a few minutes until we finally separated with Mei being left out of breath and breathing deeply trying to get oxygen back into her lungs.

“That sure was something.” I said gently wiping the red lipstick off my lips.

“There’s more where that came from in the future after you finally take me on a date~” Mei said licking her lips seductively.

‘Oh yeah. I’m definitely keeping you.’

Krunk

Mei said shily (shyly) not being able to fully look me in the eyes properly before closing her eyes and letting out a deep sigh.
