Chapter 30

“Kuwahahaha sounds interesting. Yosh, let us wage war against these so-called Gods.” Veldora immediately agreed letting out a happy laugh with his hands in his hips and letting his Dragon Spirit Haki run amok around him.

“Tsk, settle down you idiot. You’re too noisy.” Velgrynd said in annoyance and casually backhanded Veldora in the face with the back of her hand sending him tumbling backwards dispelling his Aura.

Then focusing on me again, Velgrynd gave me a smirk. “Hoh, do you seek to conquer that Universe Akari?”

“No such thing.” I immediately denied with a shake of my head. “It is simply something I must do, that’s all. Afterwards we will move on from that universe into another one.”

“Hmm and what is your goal then if not to conquer?” Velgrynd asked curiously.

“This world that we now find ourselves in.” I began signaling the Demiplane around us. “It is an infinitely expanding world that will keep growing as I grow stronger. My goal, or more my wish really. Is to create a place as close to paradise as I can make it that my future family or close friends may enjoy without worry.”

“And your reason for exploring new universes?”

“Hahaha that’s simple to answer. I like experiencing new things. The last thing I want to do is live a meaningless, boring life after all.” I answered with a grin.

“Fufufufu I see. Very well then. Then from this moment forward you have my full support.” Velgrynd suddenly said with a pleased laugh giving me a grin.

“Thank you Velgrynd.” I nodded my head thankfully at her, glad that I had passed her hidden test just now then turned to the other dragon who had gotten back on his feet. “You too Veldora.”

“Don’t sweat it partner.” Veldora dismissed with a wave of his hand and a giant grin on his face while looking somewhat nervously at his sister in case she hit him again.

“By the way Velgrynd, Veldora, I’m curious about something. Do you have any previous memories?” I asked curiously knowing that in the world of Tensura, True Dragons could never die and would just be reborn later with the same memories.

However, since this was technically the first time they had been born and with Company shenanigans kicking in, would that still apply here?

“No.” They both answered at the same time.

“All we really know is that three of us are all True Dragons, that me and this idiot are siblings and that you have the power to call upon us whenever you wish.” Velgrynd said simply with a small shrug of her shoulders not seeming bothered by how little she knew.

“And both of you are okay with that?” I asked tentatively.

“Obviously. Otherwise, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.” Velgrynd said with a sexy smirk growing on her lips.

“It is as sister says. Besides I also can’t help but think of you as my partner for some reason.” Veldora chimed in next.

‘I see. So basically, it all comes down to the Company probably erasing their memories to prevent any compatibility between them and their users. At least I’m glad that I won’t have to worry about Velgrynd being madly in love with Rudra like in canon.’ I thought privately in relief.

“Hmm actually speaking of True Dragons, how about we complete the set?” I asked with a smirk before looking for a specific mission I had researched months back in case I ever managed to reach this point and accepted it.

Then with another press of a button a bright light materialized next to me before disappearing revealing the figure of a teenage girl with white hair and blue eyes dressed in a white and blue dress.

“Velzard!? / Older sister!?”

“Hoh? Velgrynd? Veldora? What are you two doing here? And why do I feel so weak?”

(Several Hours Later)

It had taken a while but I had managed to explain to the siblings about pretty much everything pertaining about myself and the Company and what my plans for this world were in detail.

Surprisingly and yet at the same time unsurprisingly, the siblings had not been phased at all by what they had heard. Which made sense as one of the first things Rimuru learned about their world was the concept of ‘Survival of the Fittest.’

At the end, we had agreed that we would be leaving the village in the next few months and would go on the hunt first for Akatsuki and then the Otsutsuki Clan after that.

‘Now the only problem is telling the girls that I will be going away anywhere from a few months to two years.’ I thought with nervous sweat running down my neck as I thought about their reactions to such a news as me and Velzard walked out of the portal of our Demiplane.

The Frost Dragon had decided to follow me around as recompense for summoning her in such a weakened state and I had agreed.

You see the mission that I got her from, Reporting Progress, gave me a one-of-a-kind ticket for a Companion up to tier10 with the caveat being that the Companion would start at tier 5 if she was originally higher than that. Of course, with time they would be able to regain their full power just like any regular Template.

However, I was basically a walking cheat code at this point with all of my abilities and we had somewhat been able to make up for some of her missing power by devouring her just like Rimuru had done for Veldora and Velgrynd. In the process my True Dragon Release and True Dragon Nucleation sub-skills had gotten an upgrade gaining the element of Frost.

Then thanks to Ciel being able to create, duplicate and gift skills, we just gave her a bunch of skills that were appropriate for her or that Ciel suggested increasing Velzard’s tier from 5 to 8 in an instant.

Like I said earlier. I was basically cheating which I was more than fine doing if I was honest.

As for the other two dragons? Veldora and Velgrynd would be staying back in the Demiplane for now each occupied with their own thing. Veldora with finding a nice place where he could peacefully read some manga and Velgrynd with familiarizing herself with her new home. Though I had no doubt that Velgrynd would be joining me soon due to the fierce rivalry between her and Velzard.

Reaching the living room of the estate, I finally caught sight of someone I had been meaning to talk to for a while now so I headed in their direction.

“Hey Pakura, how are you doing? Been meaning to talk to you for a bit but been a bit busy as of late.” I greeted the green and orange haired woman coming to sit beside her.

Turning my direction and putting aside the small snack she was chewing on, Pakura offered me a smile. “Akari, it’s good to see you. And don’t worry, I’ve heard from everyone how you’ve been super busy lately so there is nothing to apologize for.”

“I’m glad.” I said offering her a smile as well as Velzard silently sat to my side reminding me that I had forgotten introductions. “Oh, Pakura allow me to present you Velzard, a new companion of ours that just recently joined.”

Then turning to Velzard I continued. “Velzard, this is Pakura. A talented kunoichi that greatly helped us in the war that I told you about.”

“A pleasure.” Pakura said offering Velzard a small nod.

“Likewise.” Velzard on the other hand befitting her prideful nature, only offered Pakura the smallest of looks before focusing her attention on the room around us.

“I’ve been meaning to ask. Do you have any regrets Pakura?” I asked curiously.

“No.” Pakura responded immediately shaking her head as she did. “As I told you before, I hold no allegiance to those that would betray their own. Besides, I rather like it here.”

“Haah thank goodness. Anyway, what have you been up to lately…”

I spent the next few minutes just catching up to the woman, glad that she was enjoying her stay here. It probably helped that after pulling some strings with my new position, even if only temporary, I had managed to make Pakura a part of the village. Meaning that she no longer had to stay hidden back in the Demiplane or constantly on missions and could just go out into the village whenever she wanted.

In fact, I had also managed to do the same for Karin, with her paperwork being even easier due to her young age. The redhead was already taking advantage of her new privileges and was out in the village with Kushina and Izumi buying new clothes.

“Sensei!”

We were interrupted from our conversation by a shout before I was tackled by a brown-haired missile.

“Oof! Hello Hanabi. Are you done with training?” I greeted, looking down at the grinning culprit with fond exasperation as she had taken the habit of doing this at every opportunity ever since she started staying with us.

“Hihihi, yup~ These new eyes you gifted me and nee-san are amazing~” Hanabi gushed with a giddy smile on her face then went on a small rant about everything she had learned about her new powers.

“Haah, are you going to show me the village or not Akari?” Velzard suddenly interrupted us sounding a bit annoyed.

Turning to Velzard I blinked in confusion at the jealousy I could feel from the dragoness when I suddenly recalled something about her. ‘Oh yeah, she’s rather possessive if I remember correctly.’

“Huh, who the heck in this girl?” Hanabi asked rudely looking at the dragoness with a glare not appreciating having her moment interrupted.

“Ahem, right. Hanabi meet Velzard, a friend and partner. Velzard, this is Hanabi Hyūga, one of my students.” I hurried to introduce the two before tempers could become any higher.

“Student you say?” Velzard commented raising one of her perfectly trimmed eyebrows now looking at Hanabi with new eyes.

“That’s right.” Hanabi said proudly while puffing up her chest with a smug smile that went completely ignored by Velzard causing her eyebrow to twitch in annoyance.

“Whatever, now can we please get a move on?” asked Velzard dismissing Hanabi and turning to me again.

“Sure,” I nodded my head at the dragoness knowing that she had already been patient enough before turning to Hanabi and Pakura who was just looking at us in amusement. “I’ll be back a little later Hanabi, Pakura.”

“Haah sure I guess.”

“Sure thing, Akari. Have fun you two.”

“Oh, before I forget.” I suddenly recalled something and turned to the two girls. “I have something important to tell all of you later tonight so please spread the word.” I said looking specifically at Hanabi so she could let Hinata know receiving two nods in return.

With nothing else to say, we finally left the house with Velzard immediately hugging my right arm between her breasts and looking pleased when she saw me let out a small shudder at how soft they felt.

“Will you be telling your little friends about our quest?” Velzard asked curiously looking up at me with her huge blue eyes as we walked without a care in the world in a random direction.

“Yes,” I muttered softly with a nod while waving hello to a few people who greeted us as we walked.

“Since we don’t know exactly when we will be returning, I must tell them otherwise they won’t be too happy with me when we return.” I said feeling another small shudder this time in nervousness at the beating I would receive from Kushina and Izumi if I did that.

“Fufufu, you know best.” Velzard said letting out an amused chuckle then going back to looking around the village.

“This village of yours, I can’t say I like it very much. Too warm.” Velzard continued with a small frown growing on her face.

“Well, I guess it is a little warm for someone called the Ice Empress.” I said a little teasingly receiving an elbow to my ribs for my trouble.

“That’s not what I meant you idiot. Still, why are you playing at being human? With your power, having all these humans submit to you should be rather simple.” Velzard asked curiously.

“You’re right. With my current strength I could easily conquer and subjugate everyone in this world but you see there’s a problem with that. Why would I want to go through such a hassle when I hate this world?” I explained making sure only she heard me.

“As for playing human…I guess I did it for the others.”

“Haah idiot. You should not have to hide what you are from them.” Velzard lightly reprimanded me with a frown on her face. “You are a True Dragon. You should start acting like one. If the others resent you for acting like your true self, then they never deserved your affection in the first place.”

“I only just recently evolved into one Velzard, I was not born a True Dragon remember?” I explained with a sigh. “Still there is no denying that I have mostly kept my true nature in check ever since arriving in this world so I’ll try to work on that.”

“Good. Still, to think it would be possible to evolve into a True Dragon. I’m still having trouble believing that.” Velzard said with a shake of her head.

“Hahaha if you stick around, you’ll find that the word impossible doesn’t really mean much to me nowadays.” I said with a chuckle thinking about all the possibilities the Catalog provided.

“Fufufu, I’m looking forward to it then~”

(Hours Later, Demiplane)

Later that evening we found ourselves in my Demiplane with everyone gathered in the backyard, even Mei who I had brought along myself for the evening. The only ones that hadn’t been here yet, Hanabi and Hinata, were looking around with amazement at all the things they had never seen before.

“Whoa! This place is amazing~”

“Where are we Akari-kun?”

Turning to Hinata I couldn’t help but smile as I saw her admiring our Grand Manor with a look full of wonder. I couldn’t even really blame her as I would be doing the exact same thing if I was in her place as I geeked out over the place.

You see I had remodeled our home and the surrounding area to look almost like an exact replica of Imladris or Rivendell from Lord of the Rings with the help of the Control Center App and Ciel about a week ago. The girls had immediately fallen in love with the design of the majestic looking place and had tasked me and Ciel with any future building projects.

“This is my personal world, only accessible to myself or those I personally invite. Usually the ones that have earned my complete trust.” I explained with my smile widening at the blush that sprung on her face at my words.

“T-that umm t-thanks for trusting us with your secret Akari-kun.” Hinata stuttered out cutely.

“What’s so important that you had to bring everyone together Akari?” Kushina asked curiously before looking at the forms of Veldora, Velzard and Velgrynd who were standing a bit behind me suspiciously. “And does it have something to do with those three?”

Hearing the question from Kushina everyone stopped what they were doing and focused their attention on me.

“It does and I have two things to share with you this evening. The first and honestly easiest to explain being my new form.” I began with a nervous smile getting confused looks from everyone at the mention of a new form.

“New form?” Karin asked curiously.

“It would be better if I just showed you really.” I said sheepishly while scratching the back of my head.

“Kuwahahaha I’ve been looking forward to seeing your form as well partner.” Veldora said in excitement.

“Just get on with it already.” Velgrynd said next pretending to look cool like Velzard to her side but unable to hide the excitement I could feel from her.

Rolling my eyes at all the expectant looks coming from everyone I stepped forward before willing my wings to appear on my back. However instead of the black draconic looking wings that the original Rimuru had when he evolved into a True Dragon, mine were a majestic looking blue that stretched out behind me with a wingspan about as wide as I was tall.

Then with a small flap of my wings I rose to the air only stopping when I was a good distance away from the ground and turned to face my audience who were all looking at me with different expressions on their faces.

Offering everyone a smile I closed my eyes and concentrated.

Needing a faster way to bind someone and since I was already considered a dragon anyways, I had gone ahead and bought the Dragon Heritage a few days ago along with all but the last perk since it required an IMG Ticket. For Elements I had chosen Infinity (Space) and Eternity (Time) which synchronized very good with my current abilities.

More importantly though, it gave me my own Dragon form. That of a huge western dragon with dark blue scales, four horns and pair of sapphire eyes.

Opening my eyes again I looked down at everyone and opened my mouth giving them a grin full of teeth. “So, what do you think?”

“YOU’RE A DRAGON!?”

That was all it took before chaos ensued for the next few minutes as everyone began shouting questions over each other. It didn’t help matters when Veldora, Velgrynd and Velzard also transformed and joined me in the sky with Veldora roaring in excitement.

It took a while until everyone calmed down and I was able to answer all their questions with the most excited being Kushina and Hanabi who had asked tons of questions and even asking me to take them on a ride later.

“Haah, so any other questions?” I asked a little tiredly and seeing a bunch of hands go up I let out a sigh and deadpanned at the girls. “Besides asking me to take you’ll on a ride?”

Seeing all their hands go down, even Mei’s who looked away with a small blush on her face when she noticed my look, I let out another sigh at their antics.

“Right. Now moving on to the second thing I wanted to tell you guys…” Seeing my face take on a serious look again, the girls concentrated again and gave me their complete attention.

“Me and my fellow dragons behind me will be leaving in a trip in the next few weeks to hunt down the terrorist group known as Akatsuki and the Otsutsuki Clan.” I finally revealed with a blank look on my face.

“F-for how long?” Izumi asked tentatively as if already dreading the answer.

“Haah anywhere from a few months up to two years.”
