Chapter 58: Unseen
“Children,” I repeated in amusement as I patiently waited for Runeas to gather herself while still keeping an eye on Leviathan, who hadn’t removed her eyes from Jibril this entire time. “I’m asking if both of you have children.”
Runeas blinked once more before finally gathering herself enough to answer with a small nod. “Y-Yes, I have a son. All Pillar heads were ordered by Lucifer-sama to produce an offspring before heading into war properly.”
Then her expression turned a bit teasing and seductive as a blush rose to her cheeks and she seemed to unconsciously adopt a pose that highlighted all her features, with her breasts being the most prominent.
“Though, if you’re asking if I’m single then the answer is yes~” she murmured with half-lidded eyes, and with Slanesh, I could practically taste her arousal for me.
I bet if I pushed her down right now and had my way with her, she would wholeheartedly enjoy every second of it, and based on what I was sensing from her, she was practically begging for it to happen.
My smile widened in amusement and I couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped my lips at how utterly shameless she was being right now, but chalked it up to her being a creature of sin.
“Thank you, Runeas. You don’t mind if I call you by your name, do you?” I muttered with amused eyes as I let some of Slanesh’s aura coat my words, making them more seductive and alluring.
“O-Of course not, Ca-Lord Caius,” Runeas immediately shook her head in denial with a bigger blush as she responded, though she paused on my name again and added a respectful honorific as her eyes strayed to my left where Jibril was.
I said nothing as I noticed a clear line of arousal run down Runeas’ thighs and instead turned my gaze to Leviathan next.
‘Good, this means there’s a lower risk of deleting someone off the timeline in the future if I do something here,’ I thought internally, since it would be a shame if some of the beautiful Devil girls I knew from the series weren’t born due to my meddling.
“And you?” I asked as my voice lost its amused and teasing tone as I looked into the red eyes of Leviathan, who had finally stopped hyperventilating after her near death by Jibril. “Do you have offspring?”
My voice knocked her out of her staring at Jibril with fearful eyes and she turned to me with some defiance in her eyes, only for it to be immediately snuffed as she looked at my blank expression.
“Y-Yes. …What the hell are you?” she answered but was unable to help herself as she continued with a demanding voice.
‘Perfect, then even if she forces my hand, I won’t be risking Ingvild’s existence,’ I thought silently pleased.
Letting a smile show on my face again, I silently raised a hand, stopping the angry retort about to explode out of Jibril’s mouth, and decided to humor her.
“I am but a mere traveler passing through. Don’t mind us, we’ll be leaving now that I got my answer,” I said casually before turning to Jibril, dismissing her without a care in the world and causing her to grit her teeth in anger.
“Jibril, we’re leaving,” I stated simply, getting a happy nod from her.
“Of course, Master~”
“…You’re actually leaving?” I heard the soft voice of Runeas and turned to her, who was looking at us, mostly myself, with slight disbelief in her eyes and her arousal still clearly visible to my eyes.
“Yes,” I nodded simply before I started floating off the ground, followed by Jibril. “Your petty squabbles with Heaven have no interest to me, so we’ll be taking our leave.”
My words only caused Leviathan to become even angrier, but she had lost all my interest the second I found out that Ingvild would still be born. I even made sure to double-check with the Almighty.
“For what it’s worth, I hope you make it out of this silly war alive, Runeas,” I revealed with a smile, causing her to become flushed again and nod somewhat demurely.
“T-Thanks.”
As expected, we couldn’t simply leave as if nothing had happened. Leviathan either lost her fear from earlier or her rage overpowered her fear for us as she chose that moment to chime in.
“I’ve had enough of being so casually insulted by a pair of nobodies! I’m the great Leviathan! And I will not tolerate this any further!” Leviathan screamed in rage, causing Runeas beside her to widen her eyes in fear and turn to her leader, looking at her as if she was insane.
“Lady Leviathan! What are you doing!?” Runeas asked in panic as Leviathan started gathering a decent amount of water from the atmosphere with her clan trait, Sea Serpent of the End.
Leviathan turned to her subordinate and snarled at her before lashing out with a backhand, launching Runeas to the side, before focusing on us again with a glare.
A moment later, Leviathan herself turned into a huge serpent-like dragon towering over us before releasing a roar as she started gathering mana in its mouth.
“Tsk, just like vermin to throw your mercy back in your face, Master,” Jibril snarled beside me as her aura started increasing again. “Please allow me to finish her off.”
“Haah, no, allow me. Her ability should prove a bit useful for us,” I said with a shake of my head, uncaring as Leviathan prepared to launch her attack at us, and raised my hand toward her.
“Die!” the serpent that Leviathan had become shouted as she unleashed a blast of magic at us.
“Huhuhu, it is always a pleasure to witness Master in action~” Jibril giggled delightedly with an eager expression.
“I aim to please.” I threw her a wink, humoring her, and just as the blast was about to reach us, a literal void appeared in my hand before everything was over.
Both the blast coming toward us, Leviathan herself, and all the water she had summoned suddenly vanished as if they never existed, leaving the clearing quiet again as I lowered my hand.
‘Astra, the next time Tier makes a breakthrough, incorporate Serpent of the End into her abilities. It should be a nice gift to her for her dutifulness,’ I instructed internally to my partner.
“I’m already working on an Ultimate for her when her soul is ready. Adding this ability should be simple,” Astra admitted a bit smugly, causing me to smile.
‘That’s my Partner,’ I praised and felt her preen happily while letting out a giggle.
“Huhuhu, magnificent~ Truly marvelous!” Jibril praised even happier as she started muttering nonsense to herself.
Ignoring her rambling, I turned to where Runeas had landed after being hit by Leviathan and saw her looking at the spot where Leviathan previously was blankly, clearly confused at what had happened.
“Runeas!” I called out to her loud enough to snap her out of her daze as she slowly turned toward me before flinching back in fear as she met my eyes.
“Relax, I don’t plan to harm you nor blame you for the actions of your superior,” I reassured calmly, inwardly keeping an eye on the Angels who were still observing us even now from a distance but hadn’t made a move at all.
Runeas visibly relaxed at that, though now she appeared nervous as if not knowing what to do.
“You should probably take your leave, though. You are free to tell your leaders what you wish. Just a fair warning: if they decide to come after me and mine, I will respond accordingly.” With that small threat said, I gave her one last smile and watched as she rapidly nodded before teleporting away.
“Now let’s see what the pigeons have to say,” I muttered quietly, since the second Runeas teleported away, the figures of Abdiel and Raphael started heading this direction.
Watching impassively as they came to a stop a distance from us in the air, I raised a questioning eyebrow toward Raphael, who was looking at me extremely warily.
“Is there something wrong? We were just about to be on our way,” I asked calmly with a tilted head and crossed arms.
“I’m afraid I can’t allow that,” Raphael said a bit sternly as his gaze went to Jibril for a moment, who met his stare with a sneer. “I have some questions that need answering from the Angel beside you.”
“That’s terribly rude of you, don’t you think?” I asked in an amused tone as I raised a hand to stop Jibril’s angry retort. “What makes you think you are owed any answers from us?”
My question caused the Seraph to frown in slight anger before he quickly reined it in. “The fact that she is an Angel of the Lo-”
“Wrong!” I immediately interrupted his wrong assumption with a shake of my head, causing Raphael to narrow his eyes in displeasure. “I already told your brother that Jibril is not a creation of your God, so there’s nothing for us to answer,” I repeated with a shake of my head.
“Be that as it may…” Being stubborn, Raphael didn’t seem to listen, causing me to roll my eyes in annoyance.
“Tsk, my Raphael was a billion times better than you,” I muttered under my breath, referring to the time Astra was a mere Ultimate Skill.
“Indeed, a trillion times better I must say if this is his best,” Astra huffed cutely inside my mind, clearly peeved at being associated with the Angel before us.
“Jibril, we’re leaving,” I declared in a final tone, getting a serious nod from her.
“I said-”
Ignoring the pushy Angel, I rolled my eyes again and placed my hand down on Jibril’s shoulder before teleporting away, leaving behind a fuming Seraph.

With Runeas
“…And that’s what happened, Lucifer-sama,” Runeas recounted while making sure to keep her head facing the ground, not daring to even think to look up at her creator/father’s face lest she might anger him somehow.
She had just finished recounting the events from earlier and why Lady Leviathan was most likely dead at the hands of unknown individuals. Left unsaid were the few shared moments between herself and the mysterious Caius and the fact that he had clearly let her live.
Like hell would she share that. Not only was it personal but it also might put a target on her back and redirect some of Lucifer’s anger onto herself, and she wasn’t dumb enough to do that.
“…Disappeared out of thin air while she was in her Serpent of the End form?” Lucifer muttered seemingly to himself and Runeas stayed silent, afraid to even raise her head.
“Then there’s that new Angel you claim was stronger than Raphael and Leviathan. Tsk, could they be secret creations made by Father to spite me?” Lucifer asked to himself as his anger started rising, causing Runeas to sweat nervously.
“Runeas!” Lucifer suddenly shouted, almost causing Runeas to flinch but she was just able to hold herself back.
“Yes, my Lord?” Runeas immediately answered as she bowed her head even lower.
“Going forward, you will be in charge of searching for those two and finding anything you can about them. Use any means necessary to get close to them if you must,” Lucifer commanded coldly.
“It shall be done, my Lord!” Runeas was quick to answer again, letting no inflection color her voice, showing her nervousness at such a task.
While the man known as Caius seemed to find her amusing going by their interactions so far, there was no denying that he was terrifyingly strong and ruthless when he wanted to be. That’s not even mentioning the terrifying Angel with him that had a short temper and had the power to back up her threats.
Runeas could only hope that Caius was amicable enough to not immediately make her disappear as he did to Leviathan upon seeing him again.
“Now leave! Your presence is starting to irritate me. Know that failure is not an option and I will not be so kind next time!” Lucifer declared in dismissal.
Bowing one last time, Runeas was quick to retreat before he changed his mind and killed her. Just as she was about to reach the exit to the grand hall she suddenly cried out in pain as she was hit in the back, launching her into the nearest wall by Lucifer’s iconic Demonic Brilliance of Evil Light, which was dangerous to both Angel and Devil alike.
Moments later she slowly pulled herself from the indent she had made on the wall with only some broken bones, thankfully, and finally left the place beyond relief that she was still breathing.
“I guess we’ll be seeing each other again, Lord Caius,” Runeas whispered to herself once she made sure that she was completely alone and nobody would hear her.
“…Hihihi, at least he’s cute.”

Back With Caius
“Alright, this seems like a good place for our temporary base,” I muttered to myself as I looked around at the ice and snow covered land of Antarctica.
I figured since I could hardly sense anyone around, I would make this place my home. If needed, I could always partition off a small section of the Dimensional Gap and build our base there, as it seemed to be what others did in canon from the little I knew about this place.
Jibril had gone ahead to tell the others what we had learned in my Demiplane, so it was just me for now.
After placing the strongest barriers I knew inside a mountain I had hollowed out, I extended my hand and made a portal that connected to my Demiplane.
“…And done,” I nodded to myself, satisfied, before stepping inside and being met with the expectant gazes of all my companions who were seemingly waiting for my return.
‘I just realized that despite only being to two worlds so far apart from Bleach, I managed to gather quite the gathering,’ I inwardly thought as I let my gaze wander to the hundreds of happy and expectant gazes.
There was the Arrancar turned Daemons of course, who had become my first subordinates along with Riruka. Then came the Quincy, and Jibril.
After that followed Tomoe, Mio, Shiki and Emma along with all the other races they had managed to convince to live here and follow me, ranging from Highland Orcs, Mistio Lizards, Alke, Elder Dwarves, Forest Ogres, Gorgon, Wingkin, Mermaid and Lorelei.
“Hello everyone, it seems we have an interesting world to explore this time. Why don’t we stay for a while and enjoy ourselves for a change?” I suggested with a smile.

With Raphael
“…That’s everything, Father,” Raphael finished recounting the strange set of events that had ended with the most likely death of one of the enemy leaders, Leviathan.
Currently he found himself in the Seventh Heaven, kneeled before his Father’s throne along with his closest siblings and the other Seraphs, Gabriel, Uriel and Michael, who also seemed intrigued at the news he shared.
“Hmm, and you say this… Jibril was able to invoke miracles?” the voice of his Father and the true God of this world asked with a calm tone.
“Yes, Father. She clearly invoked someone and was able to perform a type of Holy Magic I have never seen before. One strong enough where she would have likely killed Leviathan and the Gremory Pillar,” Raphael answered dutifully.
“And this being with her, what can you tell me about him?” his father further asked, sounding more intrigued at this question than the Angel herself.
“I am ashamed to say that, other than his name, I know nothing else, Father. This… Caius Aurelius was unlike any being I have ever met before and I wasn’t even able to sense his presence. I found myself more than once wondering if he was actually present there if not for the same account told of my other siblings,” Raphael said while lowering his head a bit in shame.
“You say that the Angel explicitly referred to him as her Master?” This time there was no mistaking the slight curiosity coming from his Father, though Raphael chose not to comment on it.
“Yes, she seemed to become extremely angry at any perceived slight against him and she…” Pausing for a moment not sure if to continue or not, Raphael looked at his Father for reassurance.
Upon seeing him nodding back at him, Raphael continued.
“She seemed to hold him in the highest regard possible, something I have only seen in my siblings. Almost as if he was her God,” Raphael finished before falling silent.
There was silence for a moment as everyone digested his words before his Father spoke once more with a simple word.
“Interesting…”
