Artifice WIPs (Patreon)

While I was working on the sketch I wondered if I should make this portrait as a graphite/charcoal sort of one (hence the grey background, my original intention) or something more like a watercolor piece. I asked the server and the poll results were leaning toward the latter, but I didn't think anything too polychromatic would really fit what I was going for. Instead of that, I went with something like like an inkwash painting as I thought that would be a good compromise and it's not something I've made in quite a while. For some reason this ended up taking me longer than anticipated, I'm guessing because of the flowers. It's almost a shame they don't look like that in the final image.

Not the most exciting post but I have a soft spot for Yagarai, being my oldest character. I wanted to make this idea with either her or Ava, so maybe that's an idea for the future.
