Despite the composition being rather simple it was pretty daunting to shade for some reason.  I was worried that this update would be late as the heater where I've been living the past while wasn't working and my hands were too cold and stiff to work for several days.  Fortunately the matter was looked into and I could work again.  I wasn't sure what palette to use so I went with one I haven't used in over a year, thinking it might look nice.  I think it turned out pretty decent.

Other WIPs attached.  Text project progress: 66 chapters and two halves of a prologue.

This will probably be the last big new thing I post for the rest of the month while I work on illustrations and more chapters for the text project.  I'd like to start posting those in January.  Unfortunately if you're tired of this particular "saga" of the canon, well, that's what this big project is going to be about, so apologies in advance.  I hope you can find it enjoyable nonetheless as I'm putting a ton of work into it and my proofreader seems to like it thus far.  Remember-- this isn't possible without you, and I'm so very thankful you've all stuck with me.  It really does mean a lot, especially with how absolutely brutal this year has been.

I will have a little nice thing for you for Christmas and New Year's Eve that I hope you'll like.  See you then!

I am very much looking forward to seeing what you cook up for the story.

Lesser artists would have pulled a half year hiatus for a paper cut.
