pain

but also orang

Since we're so close to the end I wanted to make something big and colorful for people to look at.  My laptop was not thrilled about this.

All those bricks, do you draw them individually or do you have a shortcut of some kind?

It's a bit of both. On another canvas I draw the first two or so rows using SAI's perspective grid without any warping, which lets me use it as a sort of incremental ruler. I use a pretty fat line for the grouting between bricks, then I erase down that with a thinner line and mark off where I want everything to connect. From there I copy and paste until I get a sheet of bricks and ensure everything is connected and unbroken. When I'm satisfied with it I copy the whole thing and paste it over to my main work canvas and warp it with perspective at full (an option in SAI's selection tool when transforming) and transforming it in tune with the wall of the building so the perspective is the same. Making each and every brick is tedious but I don't want a flat wall, so this lets me get what I want without making me spend a ton of time for more or less the same visual result.

Got to find shortcut where you can.
