Epilogue ii WIPs (Patreon)

I'm normally pretty bad at remembering to take snapshots of my progress when working with paintings, but this time I was extra careful to take several.  I was using a different process from my usual and wow it was incredibly time-consuming.  I used a palette generator to get a decent range of values to work with that wasn't just greyscale because how I work with greyscale is very different and this way I could avoid accidentally going into those habits.  After I got most things how I wanted everything got a gradient map to something closer to what I wanted for the finished product and all the rest is just effects from there.

And for the record, in faraden society marriage bands are worn on the ring finger of one's dominant hand.

I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I enjoyed working on it.  It's been basically my life for about two and a half years, from September 2019 to February 2022.  This was my longest project yet and, while I don't intend to make anything quite so long in the future (at least for the time being), I do still intend to make series projects like I've been doing for the past ~8 years.  I hope you'll continue to stick with me and support my stuff, else projects like these simply can't happen.  Your help makes all of this possible.

I plan to release a document of the second half as well as one containing the whole project.  These will be available for download complimentary for supporters like yourself.
