More or less a step-by-step of how something like this gets made, including the palette I used.  Some colors changed since I posted the original sketch on Twitter, mostly to make the purple a bit warmer.  I'd been a bit out of practice leading up to starting this as I was waiting on some furniture to arrive to free up some space in my room and allow me to work at a desk instead of on my bed.

I spent that workless time playing Legends: Arceus and had more fun than I have playing a Pokemon game than I have in probably a decade.  I even completed and 10'd the pokedex and, for literally the first time, I'm finding shiny pokemon.  The only times I'd ever found those in previous games that weren't plot-related were when I was testing specific methods in X to see if they really worked.

Sorry but I will probably make more pokemon stuff in the near future.  I don't normally like making fanart but Pokemon has been such a deep-rooted part of my life for so long, as sad as that is, that it's one of the few exceptions.  I've also been stuck in a sort of aimless "what do I do now" funk with the completion of AGS that it still gives me something I can just...turn my brain off and do.  Hope you understand.
