Parana WIPs (Patreon)

Not sure how many people remember her, but hey.

I wanted to try painting a character that doesn't have much art and that doesn't have fur.  Smoother, softer surfaces like skin are a lot harder for me to paint and I wanted to try working on that in particular.  Parana's colors also work nicely with the Zorn palette which means less thinking on my part.

Next portrait I paint will hopefully have some more lighter colors.  I did want to show more reflected/bounce light here by having most of the portrait in the darker values.  Not sure how well that came through.
