I normally hate drawing shoes but I have a soft spot for big chunky alt-fashion boots.  My generation is probably shining through a bit too much.

Instead of working with pigment mode enabled the whole time I had it turned off so I could use the transparent application mode in Rebelle, which functions more like how most darker inks do from what I recall.  Still using darker pigments (which you can see in the background splashes, those are the colors I used for this whole thing), it lets me sort of ignore what the hue is and allows for a more visually interesting result even before turning pigment mode back on.  So, up through the last WIP is what I actually saw while working, but the finished image is what it looks like when that mode is enabled and simulates more what paint would do.  It's like a surprise when I get to see it when I'm done.

I'd like to do more of these if I find the time.
