Hey all!

It's time for September's Drake Hall content! This month we're bringing you the Village Green, River Wagon Crash, and Overgrown Graveyard. Let's begin!

Village Green

We have had requests for some more communal spaces for characters to be encountered outside of their specific scenes, other than the Gilded Wyrm tavern.

The Village green has no specific quest or new character provided as part of it, but is simply an additional location for your characters to have social encounters with the villagers of Drake Hall. Variants are included for day/night.

Foundry Users can pass beneath the overhead tree canopies or pass beneath the gazebo.

River Wagon Crash

This carriage has come awry near a ravine, and has tumbled into the gorge. By some twist of fate the carriage caught on the rocks and is now suspended precariously above the chasm - though the horses didn't fare so well.

This scene provides an encounter where characters can attempt to carefully retrieve the contents of the wagon without causing it to break, resulting in treasure and clues about other profitable locations in the region. Variants are included for day/night.

Foundry users are able to pass beneath overhead tree canopies, climb beneath the wagon, or descend down into the canyon below.

Overgrown Graveyard

This graveyard has lain forgotten for decades and is being reclaimed by the forest. The DM may decide that this is much older than the Drake Hall settlement and contains far older treasures, or perhaps it's just from a less nostalgic point in the village's time. Variants are included for day/night.

We've deliberately included two very different encounters for the day and night versions of this map - with the daytime encounter featuring the characters disturbing some foraging Owlbears, whilst the night encounter features undead rising from some of the graves. Both options will feature into the ongoing story of Drake Hall so as DM you can choose without worrying about a 'canon' choice.

Foundry users are able to pass beneath overhead tree canopies, climb on or enter the crypts. One of the crypts contains a secret door which will become important in a future Drake Hall supplement.

Drake Hall is available on pCloud for All the Things tier Patrons, and the Foundry module has been updated!

We'll be back tomorrow with a new feature, and later this week with the third release of Oceans 2 and reveal of next month's theme!

Until then...

Keep Rollin' those 20's, folks!Harrison, Alex, & Team MAD
